Sorry for no update as promised, I've been very busy with work and school.

This mod adds 19 fully custom craft-able medieval style melee weapons, as well as multiple crafting materials.

All of the weapons aside from one are craft-only. You can find the recipes alongside other literature, or by picking the starting trait!

  • Arming Sword
  • Basic Poleaxe
  • Cavalry Sabre
  • Dagger
  • Danish War Axe
  • German Mace
  • Grosse Messer
  • Hooked Spear
  • Horseman's Battleaxe
  • Iberian Mace
  • Longbladed Hewing Spear
  • Scrap Metal Machete
  • Morning Star (2h)
  • Rondel Dagger
  • Saber
  • War Ax
  • Old Warhammer
  • Warhammer
  • Zweihander

I plan on incorporating:
  • More weapons, of course. Suggestions/requests please! Just drop a comment.
  • A custom smithing system to smith/craft the weapons.
  • New sounds for all weapons to replace vanilla sounds.
  • Armor to be crafted with the smithing system.
  • At least one map area that will contain the weapons and armor (currently plan is a renaissance festival 'map' that will be placed somewhere)

Please feel free to comment with suggestions/bugs! I plan on trying to keep the mod up to date.

If you think I won't implement your suggestion... The poleaxe and cavalry sabre were both user requests. I modeled them both with extra care because they were specific requests. I care about my peeps.

This is now a regular mod for us. My only feedback is maybe have more individual recipes, rather than so many coming from the basic textbook. Just a thought.
Purely out of curiosity, does anyone know what the stat differences are between the weapons?

An old but great weapons pack, added quite some mid to late-game weapons of all categories. These weapons usually require a manual and metalworking to build so it wouldn't be too OP.

One small problem for anyone who's using this along side Tools of the Trade mod: The morning star from that mod will somehow interupt the recipe in this one. So that if you craft a morning star following the recipe of Scrap Smith, the weapon of result will be the one from TotT instead of this mod.

Renaissance festival map with modern day carnival rides would be a lit map . Nice mod , hopefully you can return to working on it soon

why is the german mace (that needs significantly more metal/work/+wood glue) just straight up worse in every way than the warhammer, id of imagined with a metal shaft over a wooden shaft you'd get something worthwhile out of it...
