Battle Towers

Description
Introduction:
It is this time of year again, the fourth year since Kiooeht blessed the modding scene with Mod the Spire. That's right, 18/01/2022 marked the fourth year of modding the spire, so a lot of the members of the modding discord came together and made something for everybody to enjoy.

Description:
Battle Towers replaces the chest nodes in the middle of act 2 with a new tower node. When entering you get to decide whether to take the chest as normal or to visit one of the titular battle towers. In these towers you'll fight an elite, boss and 1-2 hallway fights as well as an event or finding a shop or even a rest site. Just remember, additional rewards come with additional risk. These fights won't be easy.

Of course, all the content is custom and so are the rewards! Here are some stats:
  • 40+ new enemies!
  • 25+ new relics!
  • 10+ new cards!
  • 10+ new events!

If you find bugs or think something could use another balance pass, don't hesitate to let us know. Some of the combats may be a little overtuned.

PLEASE SUBMIT A CRASHLOG IF YOU REPORT A CRASH
You can find the crashlog in \Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire\sendToDevs\logs\SlayTheSpire.log if you haven't restarted the game after the crash.

The most important bit is most likely going to be at the very end, it'll look something like this
20:43:36.118 ERROR core.CardCrawlGame> Exception caught java.lang.NullPointerException: null ...

Please give us everything from that point onward. Thank you!

And finally, a massive thank you to Alchyr who pretty much coded the entire battle tower system by himself. Without him you probably wouldn't be able to save and quit in the tower, get a cool independent map and more.

It is entirely compatible with Ruina, for anyone wondering. But I came here to whine about the Void Shrine. Please let us just walk away rather than leaving us with three options which are often going to be all the same thing: pay me to fuck you over. I grant you that the choices CAN all be really useful depending on your deck, but if they're not it's a terrible event.

Necrototem is also reducing its dmg to block to 1; I have a relic that gives plated armor to enemies-2 each turn, effectively a combination of ever stacking buffer and intangible

complete bullshit elites, why would you ever give an enemy 5 plated armor and strength EVERY TURN. i get its meant to be hard cause the rewards are good but seriously this is too much. i believe it may be the red dragon that did it, i didn't read what he did but it really doesnt matter it was way overscaled for second act.
