Nijmegen is the 11th busiest station of the entire Netherlands with 45.000+ passengers a day. This is impressive considering that it only has 4 platforms and that the city has a population of just around 170.000.

In total 20 trains visit the station per hour. Of which 16 travel on the same 2 tracks. The station has a variety of services from Sprinters to Intercities. NS is the main operator of the station, however, NS doesn't operate all services, Arriva operates their DMU's from Nijmegen to Venray/Roermond every 15 minutes.

The entire timetable takes about one hour and is fully based upon the 2022 timetable during rush hour.
The map is fairly easy and small, however, there is not a lot of room for error.
