Randomised Stone Refinery

Description
I will not be updating this to 1.5 btw. I've made a version that is better in every way [and has been updated to 1.5], just use that
Yet another mod that lets you refine resources from stones

The only real difference between this mod and others like it is that this one’s recipe has a recipe with a randomized outcome, you might get a decent amount of gold, plasteel and jade... or a sad, single piece of steel.

I like the idea of being able to get some useful resources out of stone, but with “static” outcomes it felt (to me at least) a bit weird that each and every piece of stone on the planet contains steel, gold, silver, uranium, jade and plasteel and yet being able to extract only one of them.

Balance

Currently the balance might be a bit “eh”, I’m open to suggestions.

Details are dumb and boring, so here’s just the important stuff:

-The recipe requires slightly more work than the one for smelting slag chunks

-There is a limit to how much of one resource can be obtained from one chunk (a maximum of two pieces of gold per chunk for example)

-Each chunk should yield somewhere between 2 to 40 market value worth of resources (loosely based on VFE – Mechs' steel extractor recipe)

-There’s a guaranteed one piece of steel per chunk (yes, I am indeed aware of my vast generosity)

C#-free

This mod has been made with just xml, meaning it should be (mostly) safe from my lack of actual coding skills.

Compatability

  • The recipe should accept any modded stone chunk (unless for some reason they are given different categories, in which case it won’t)
  • Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids - The steel extractor, along with its normal recipes, can perform this recipe (minus that one piece of steel)
  • CE - Completely incompatible. Using both will instantly break any electrical device in a ten-kilometer radius and donate the contents of your bank account to a charity of my choice.
  • Patches for other modded resources might be added later, I’m open to suggestions (but I won’t be touching any big overhaul mods)

I should probably have the link in this one's description or something lel.
The 1.5 version of the sequel automatically works with all mods too

Cool mod. Also, that compatibility bit relating to CE made me lmao, thanks for that.

@HAL-9000 yeah it should be fine, if you wanna be 100% safe you can load the save, disable the recipe and then replace the mod

Oh I didn't know there was a V2! I assume you'll attempt it on that one then? Is it safe to uninstall this one and put V2 in its place without much issue?

oh wait nope, not for this mod, try V2, this is being discontinued

@HAL-9000 I'll try and add those tomorrow

I don't know how to add it in myself but I would like the raw metal resources from Expanded Materials - Metals ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2259837114 ) and probably not have coal be in the pool (since you could argue it gets burnt away).
I use this mod and that one together but since this mod doesn't provide that one's resources I end up with a ton of steel but having to trade or mine up of their metals.

Really love this idea, I love to make mines and I often do not need to use that much stone chunks, and now I have a chance of getting something useful from it, is really great.
If I may suggest, it would be great if the player could change the options of what can be obtained from stone chunks, with what chance and quantity!
Similar to the "Quarry" fashion.
