Thanks to the success of the DSM-2 RYNIR in the global market, Consolidation soon began developing an improved version of the drone. The resulting modification made it possible to use various automation systems, which made it possible to reduce the number of necessary crew to work with drones. This modification proved to be on the good side after the launch of the Monticlaw class ships, which were designed taking into account the possibility of using up to four drones of this class.
Due to its narrow profile and small dimensions, the DSM-3 Rynir-M is able to penetrate deep into asteroids and drill through passages. Scanning equipment on board allows you to search for valuable ores, and three medium containers will allow the owner of the drone to reduce the number of flights from the point of extraction to the discharge of ore.

This is the PAM-ready version of previous mining drone. If you don't need scripts, you always can use this one

For using as an automatic mining drone, please read the instructions for use here.
When used with Monticlaw or a similar ship (with the possibility of using multiple drones at the same time), it is recommended to change the drone name in CustomData at PB.

For the convenience of setting up the drone, the PAM console and control buttons are displayed on the left side

how do i move the drone to the job site

Thanks. I used the Buttons near that entrance from the docking area for back up, the two small yellow on door cycle.

Hi! You can use the hotkey on the toolbar (button 3 on the first toolbar) when using the remote control
If you want to use physical button then you need to set up it by yourself

How could i turn off the thrusters when docked with the large mining ship you have? i could just set up a button just wanted to know if something was all ready in place to do that.

SCAM is designed to be used with a vertical drill layout, while the original Rynir model uses a horizontal one
Probably with the further development of mining drones, I will use SCAM since I will no longer have such restrictions

Hey, that`s really well designed compact drone! I`ve been experimenting with mining drones lately and it`s not an easy task to accomplish it - good job!

Also in such configuration as on the picture, I believe that it would benefit it a lot if you`d use SCAM Miner Script instead of PAM.

I know that PAM is very popular and intuitive but I think that SCAM is doing much better job at coordinating work of multiple drones and you are able to relocate the ship in meantime (I miss those functionalities in PAM so much).
