AT-71 USS CHOPTANK (fictional)

Hull number AT 71 - U.S.S. CHOPTANK (fictional) is a Fleet Support Class Ship intended to re-supply smaller remotely based vessels in their wartime duties with various cargo and required support. All ship controls (except weapons, cargo cranes,tow winch, and anchors) are controlled from the Bridge. With a speed of only 10 knots she is not the fastest vessel, the best armed, most beautiful, or the most glorious. The Choptank is a wartime workhorse that will get the job done where ever it is needed.

***NOTE*** - I have tested the ship in wind/waves up to 100% without rolling over head-on and broadsided.

I left the bunkroom very basic, and two other rooms undecorated intentionally.

I used physics flooders in the inaccessible areas of the hull to be a bit more PC friendly.

Armaments:

1 - 3" .50 Cal Deck Gun
1- 20mm Crew Served Cannon Mount


Radar
Sonar
Radar Detector
2 Boom Cranes (Mag pull and rope connections)
Cargo deck winches (connect rope from item to winches, after all ropes are connected turn on the deck winches. They will tighten and stop automatically.)

2- Large Power Plants driving 1 sub surface screw

Spd - 9 to 10 Knots

Standard Crew - 10 (full complement)

Generator Clutch preset at +.35 to keep batteries at 100% charge.

Clutch engages at + .15 throttle, minimum set to .10 to keep generator charging batteries.

Fuel - 32400 liters (8559 Gallons) diesel feeding both engines.

To Start...

Turn on both fuel/air pump switches and hit starter buttons OR 1 and the adjacent starter.
