Description
In a cold and cruel world where there is no rule of law, a brave few stand in the way between the sheep and the wolves. They go by many names, but most people know them by their title of "Ranger".






Contents:
- 512x512 px, high quality apparel and weapon texture art.
(Note: Apparel may be rendered low in-game due to 1.3 update forcing this.)
- Unique faction with their own backstory and characteristics.
- Enlistment feature that allows your colonists to become a part of the faction naturally.
- Ranger Armor, colorable in style of vanilla spacer armors. Requires chemfuel to fly, has energy shielding.
- You can literally go around arresting people you and the rangers don't like, then turn them in for a bounty. That's literally- I don't know what else to tell you mate.
- Work part time, get paid minimum wage and be too busy to do anything else just like real life!

FAQ
- Is this the NCR from Fallout 2077?
- No. The Rangers in this mod were formed within the outer rimworld.

- Is this safe to enable mid-save?
- No, you need faction discovery or Vanilla Expanded Framework.
NOTE: Rimcities will cause the mod to have problems being enabled mid-save even with VEF.

- My colonists won't haul the gear in the stockpiles?
- My colonists keep stripping/not putting the clothes on?

- When you enable a mod mid-save successfully, the game automatically disables the items for every kind of "allowed" stockpile, i.e. your uniform settings, your allowed food diet settings, medicine settings and stockpile.

All you have to do is allow all of these items in your settings for each one. Also the rations are gross, so maybe that's why they won't eat them (Enable them in your food diet settings).

- SOS2 compatibility?
- The Ranger Armor set was never intended to work as an EVA suit.
- Enlistment mission events and reinforcements are untested in new planets and/or player space ships.

- I say my good chap, I seem to have run into this fine mod. I do have a good ol' question for her majesty the queen my good fellow. Is this mod, compatible with combat extended?

No updates have been done to this mod to break compatibility as of yet.

- Will this mod work without Ideology DLC?
The way the mod is coded, is it needs rulepacks for ideology DLC. If you don't have the DLC you will get errors about the rulepacks. Your game will work fine, you can ignore the errors since it won't affect your game.

Does the salary stockpile? Because I just went and claimed mine and instead of 1500-2000 silver i jsut got 25000 22000 silver

I hope it would be possible to add mass production recipies for Muffaberg. A 10x or 12x root beer recipie would help a lot. I want my guys to drink Muffaberg but making them 1 at a time is slow and unrealistic. Nobody brews beer by the bottle, it is alway in quantity. Love your mod and hope you can help with this :)

@chicken plucker - Would love to see a standalone mod that adds the mission service to regular friendly\allied factions. The full faction mods are awesome pieces of work but personally I feel they are a bit more on the OP side but the missions system is the thing I miss the most. This implementation forces travel which is more dynamic play-style than similar type mods that just use the comms console.

Update to my issue regarding pawn generation in quests you get from Enlisted job seeking, been playing a run enlisted with MSF and having the same sort of problem, sadly the issue doesn't seem to pop up in the error log so I got no clue what is really causing it to happen in the first place. Also applies to animals as well so any quests that involves keeping an animal safe is pretty much a no go as well. A real shame cause the whole idea behind the enlisted mechanic is neat and wish I could have more ways to generate quests.

So, bit of an issue with the quest generation, for quests that don't involve a person (be it crashed royal shuttle or Sanguophage meeting as examples) the quest works fine, it's those quests that require a person when picking them from the list of potential quests to pick that I get my issue, in that the objective pawn in question doesn't seem to generate, for the Shuttle Crash example, the other person that lands with generates fine. But the one I need to actually protect, and likewise happened with a 'keep prisoner for x amount of days' quest giving a similar issue. Not sure how to properly post a log but the other normal generated versions of the quests work fine. Just the ones you get from a settlement as part of enlisting is the issue. Haven't tested with the other factions you can enlist in but would assume similar issues.
