Description
German armed forces - Complete Arma 3 Faction
This mod is a Modern days German army faction, using assets from other addons, and some custom retextures, aiming to get the best from all great addons and DLCs. Based on German Bundeswehr in very near future: 2023-2024. For more info, see below.
New gear is based on real used equipment, build after extensive research and discussion with weapons and military enthusiasts.

Added soft dependency: PBW Kleiderkammer V2 - Replacing M92 helmets, including Multitarn camo.
Updated for ,,soft dependencies". If you load any of the additional mods, it will automatically replace\extent this addon, so either add units, vehicles or replaces the weaponry, including compatible ammo on units if needed.

  • Is this BWMod/GM Bundeswehr on steroids? - Hmmm...maybe..
  • Have you created all the assets? - No, I just prescribed the steroids.

    Check the collection for all extensions - integrated addons from other authors.

    Estimated next steps
    Add Sebs Ample Camopack (uniforms, vests) independently into the mod.
    New retextured uniform model ,new screenshots, make more retextured HEMMTs working

Features of this mod
  1. GM - German Radio protocol - for GM owners only. GM must be active.
  2. Modularity - add any soft dependencies you wish, will be loaded automatically.
  3. Fully works with: ACE , Alive and Zeus . (Make sure to tick: All addons including unofficial ones)
  4. If ACE is loaded, units have plenty of medical equipment in their bags, and can take care of each other longer.
  5. 3 factions - Flecktarn, Tropentarn, Multitarn
  6. Several custom retextures of vanilla and RHS stuff.
  7. Groups, config classes, icons,vehicle loadouts properly configured
  8. Minor headgear randomization. (Different textures of same OPSCore helmet)


My intention is to create the best and most complete representation of German armed forces for everyone, consolidated in one single faction without unnecessary stuff. Other main purpose is the educational one, for improving my coding skills.
Was it sucessful? Well, lets find out. Let me know in the comments, and post your suggestions and opinions or any constructive criticism.

Planned features:
a)OPFOR and Independent version of this mod.
b) More groups, unit types, vehicles, other equipment, or anything reasonable, depends on your feedback in the comments. Mainly next faction: Multitarn (added, will add Tropentarn vehicles as soon as I have time)
c) Fancy stuff such as custom editor icon and such things.
d) Non GM version, for non-owners.
e)More retextures: Offroad, Hemmt truck (partially done), More Van, RHS JetFighter, Uniforms
f)Add more extensions for this faction, such as ReddNtank Vehicles, etc. to make it modular and tailored to anyones use.

Recommend using the RHS-SAF mod so you can get high-quality G36s (RHS compatible and standard) and the FN Minimi (AlsoRHS compatible and standard) with the euro designation - might save you a lot of hassle and allow for a smoother cross-compat with RHS as I'm sure is the intention.

There are other mods for this: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2562940013 I do not tweak the vehicles/weapons attributes at all, just loadouts and textures sometimes. You can check this one out. Should work with my mod, as it inherits completely everything from original Leopard from BWMod.

Is there a way to have the BWMod Tweaked in this pack to make there vics more inline with the RHS tanks currently they are more or less immune to the front from the M1A2 using its best round well the LEO2A6M will just click pen the M1
