Description
The Federal Sign & Signal (now Federal Signal) 3T22 and 2T22 are a 10/12 port siren with a distinct 12 horns on top and 10 horns on the bottom, thus the 22 in XT22. The number in the siren name (2 or 3) in means the signal number, although these can be programmed to do many others.

The 3T22 was the "fire" siren of the 2T22 having dampers so it could sound a "coded" signal hence "hi-lo".

The 2T22 was the uncoded version of the 3T22 both being the same port ratio, just the 2T22 having no solenoids/dampers.
Port 10/12 (7/12 for prototype)
Porduction 1952-Early 1990
this 2t22 replaced the yellow sentry 20v2t and it was square horn
