Description
Blaziken

The Blaze Pokémon Blaziken is here at last! Use his powerful martial art moves and enhanced attacks to fire up the battlefield!

This martial artist bring a variety of different moves and techniques, most of them coming straight out of his games, both the main line Pokemon titles and specially from Pokken Tournament!

Main Mechanic - Enhanced Moves
Blaziken can Enhance all of his moves, aside from Jab, by imputing Shield/Dodge during the startup of said move, doing so increases its power, and also give it some different properties. But keep in mind, Blaziken takes recoil damage when doing this.

Special Moves
NSpecial - Mega Kick:
Blaziken gathers power and charges up a powerful kick before unleashing with all of his might! This move is extremely powerful but also very slow, you can however turn around with it at the charging phase of the move
EX Version: The moves becomes even stronger and Blaziken even gains armor! However the move is also slower to come out.

FSpecial - Brave Bird:
As a true Flying Type move, Blaziken takes flight, flying horizontally forward a good distance, this is a useful burst option and, if Blaziken hits anyone with it, you can even jump out of the move for some good combo potential!
EX Version: Being a Fire Type, Blaziken engulfs himself with a flaming bird, flying even faster with a bigger and stronger hitbox, which is also a potent multih-hit!

USpecial - Sky Uppercut:
Just like in the games, this move is very useful for hitting enemies above you, in here it has some nice combo potential and also very useful as a recovery tool.
EX Version: However in the EX version, Blaziken flies even higher and anyone caught in the attack, will be victim to a powerful explosion at the apex of the move!

DSpecial - Will-O-Wisp:
With this move Blaziken summons a Will-O-Wisp in front of him, which just sits there, however you can hit it around to send it flying at the corresponding direction! Great for long range plays. But remember, the enemy can also hit the Wisp or even parry it to send it back.
EX Version: This version is straight forward, the Wisp becomes even bigger and stronger, so again use it wisely.

Other Notable Moves

Heat Wave and Fire Spin: Those being his FStrong and DStrong, they alongside UStrong, FAir and DTilt all not only become stronger when enhanced, but also gain a bit of disjointed hitbox!
Brick Break: His Dash Attack is the Brick Break, when enhanced the move gains armor during the active frames.
Blaze Kick: Blaziken's BAir has a tiny sweetspot on the tip of his foot, this hitbox is much, much stronger than the rest of the move. However on the EX version, the sourspot instead gains the attributes of the sweetspot!
High Jump Kick: The DAir is the classic Dive Kick, which you can turn around with at the start of the move. If you slide with it near a ledge you can also gain a bit of a boost! The EX version turns the hit into a powerful spike.

I just noticed I love this character, I just feel like I can do like 40 percent in 3 seconds without being broken, every hit feels incredible, and I'd love that more people played him

I really wasn't expecting this one to be so good. The "EX" meter is a really fun gimmick and down special is super cool.

Down special doesn´t hit, I don't know if it´s a random bug or your working on wil o' wisp, but if you are i´d recommend there was some way to make the projectile bigger because it´s real easy to dodge it, specially when the set up is so slow. Maybe the fire ball could cause damage even while not moving, but dissappear if it does or after a while, like ROB's gyro in smash, maybe it wouldn´t work with blaziken I don´t know. But other than that, I love how dynamic the moves are, and the ex moves are great, just a bit hard to get the hang of the timing, but when it does hit it's awesome.

The character is neat in terms of visuals and how the moves feel, but having to press block during the startup for EX moves is really frustrating. The window is very small and playing it quickly started getting annoying.

Played some more, Blaziken's B-air is no longer a viable kill move at reasonable percents, I think you nerfed the knock back a little too much.

Up strong angle change is nice, before it never hit anywhere near above his center just right in front of blaze.

The self damage for ex-nair should be reduced to 5 since it now no longer serves as a good kill or damaging option. 8% for that weak output? I think the changes for bair should be reverted since it lessens the reward for landing a small sweetspot. I also don't think it makes sense that hitting hit every hit of ex-u-special does 12% to you while only dealing 13% to the opponent, the regular version does 12% to the opponent; you can keep the knockback nerfs on ex-u-special since it was overtuned, but it should do way more dmg to justify you taking nearly the same percent to yourself.

OK, so the angle change on ex-dair makes it so hitting a grounded a opponent makes it impossible to follow up on the subsequent spike off the ground like it used to, it literally sends the opponent flying behind you eliminating all chances at further conversions.

Another suggestion, his EX version of N-special is often still trashed by opponents since they can just keep attacking him while in armor and Blaze will get interrupted between the frames of the armor ending and the actual attack starting, happens way more often than you think if you even bother trying to go for the gimmick kill; i'd say make the armor last the whole duration of the attack. Definitely his least used moved due to lack of practical utility, which is a shame considering you aren't exactly swamped with move options in platform fighters, it's not like tekken where a 100 moves can be niche to useless and that's just fine since you've got 700 moves total.
