Description
BACKGROUND
The R.S.V. Vai is the fastest deep-sea exploration, luxury, research yacht in OMUA's fleet. Built as a sister ship to the R.S.V. Aiea, the R.S.V. Vai is specifically designed for deep sea exploration, and features a decompression chamber and carries an array of deep sea exploration gear, including a mini-sub, sea scooter and ROV. There is also a weapons locker, in case of emergencies or hostile attacks. Capable of deep sea missions, research, and exploration, the Vai can excel at a multitude of tasks, all while hosting VIP guests in luxurious accommodations.

OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency, built the Vai for deep-sea and underwater projects requiring a rapid deployment. The Vai can withstand the forces of the open sea, however, at the expertise of the captain. The Vai has a cargo/sun deck with a remote controlled SAAP mC-FI ROV, SAAP C-X sea scooter and a Lil' Scut Mini-Sub. The yacht also features private luxury living quarters, a large and open mess deck, a sundeck with hottub, a laboratory with operations room and decompression chamber, and an infirmary. As with all OMUA vessels, all systems are designed to be operated by a 1-man crew, in case of emergencies. The Aiea has a standard operations crew of 4 and up to 10 other staff.

  • The attached vehicles may be limited to a 5 km radius otherwise will cause the main vessel to disappear.
