***IMPORTANT*** Some players are reporting the map crashing and t-posing zombies. To fix this, I have removed the packed file and replaced it with the pure map file. Unfortunately, this now means users must mount episode 2 onto gmod. To do this, open gmod, select the 'games' icon in the lower right of the screen, then simply tick the check box for episode 2. This also means you must buy episode 2 if you don't already have it. I apologize for the inconvenience.

TLDR: Travel above and below the war-torn streets of City 17, fighting through waves of the undead and ruthless soldiers before you are caught in a kill-zone.

As you travel through the city complexes toward the Citadel, you find yourself in the perfect position to be caught in a killzone with only one exit. You only just realize this, now you have to escape before the Combine realize too and close in for the final blow. Explore this mostly-abandoned borough of City 17, the damp, cold sewers beneath, and the not-so-lonely apartments above.

This is a small campaign, with one map packed with 15-20 minutes of intense, exciting gameplay. I recommend playing through half life 2 and the episodes before playing this campaign, as there are certain enemies and mechanics better introduced.

Under and Over is my first ever map, and it is very special to me, as I put a lot of time and effort into it. I will be the first to admit it is far from perfect, but I want to put my work out for others to see anyway. I hope you enjoy this level. Massive thanks to Ruki and Finger for playtesting, and Ruki again for the preview icon. Seriously, this map would be nothing without their amazing feedback, so huge shout out to Ruki. Note: This was originally intended for HL2 EP2, you do need to mount episode 2 to gmod, as well as the "HL2 campaign" gamemode made by AMT.

Known issues: If you activate a certain trigger in the top room of the yellow warehouse, a big trigger_hurt is gonna be activated around the beggining area which immediately kills you. A future fix may be necessary.

а нельзя было карту разделить на несколько частей? тут есть очень сложные места в которых игроки постоянно умирают, и приходится перепроходить всю карту заново. короче карта конечно атмосферная но её невозможно пройти потому что у человека не хватит терпения перепроходить карту заново после каждой смерти 9999 раз.

This looks like a pretty well done map... however, I have plenty of Error messages and unfinished textures (black and pink). How can I solve this issue?

So you are telling me, that I have to fight through zombies and combines, activate 3 different triggers in 3 different places under ground and fight my way back to surface... to get to the other side of... fence... I can climb that fence. Even my grandma can climb that fence, and she's dead! Come on, I have addon that makes it possible to climb that fence.

But if we consider that as ironical depiction of "genious" HL2 level-design, it's alright. The quintessence of allmighty locked wooden doors, 1.5m fences, vents, and "you can't get there. because you can't. Now go fight your 2km way around".


Still not complete, because there no boss helicopter and puzzle with car batteries. HL2 doesn't exist without them.

I have ep2 mounted but I still still error models everywhere, and I have the CSS files.

You need to exit the nade and go forward to Doors (if I can remember corretly).
