Sorry, the link isn't broken in the sense that it doesn't link to the original any more.
Rather the parentheses surrounding it in the description are being included in the link, at least in Chrome and Firefox (try hovering over the link in your comment and then the link in the description)

The link in the description results in a "Link Blocked! This link has been flagged as potentially malicious." warning
