This would've been done tomorrow, but I listened to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xaj8QSJZ0E , and it reinvigorated my strength.

cp_intrusion AI Nodes, took 57 minutes to node and has 1294 AI nodes. While noding this, I had the dark realisation that the status quo we begrudge is a golden age in decline, and the elites we despise are clinging onto that old system, aging, decrepit and decayed as it now is, that once brought wealth to us all but now only benefits them. Perhaps they do it out of a belief that those good old times of the 80s and 90s are still around, perhaps they do it out of fear that they will lose it all with the collapse of system, or perhaps they simply do it out of greed. Regardless of their intentions, the overthrow of such an order, if indeed possible without the total immolation of our society, will not restore us to an age of wealth and prosperity, but instead deliver us into the dark realization that the great wealth we once held in those golden days was instead simply the fat of a great empire ascendant as the sole superpower that had foolish vanquished the lead that they had once held and now is permanently resigned to decline.

I also realised that the Southwest isn't ever going to Mexico, if anything the immigration to America has influenced the border regions in Northern Mexico to become more culturally and economically linked to America. Thus if anything, Northern Mexico will be subsumed into the US as these influences grow and the border becomes more unstable. That is, if our country does indeed last.
