Javelin Mk2

The Javelin Mk2 is a tandem rotor push-prop fighter designed around ease of use. The rear facing props ensuring maximum visibility and ample flight assists ensure even a first time flyer is capable of taking the javelin out for light combat duty. The Javelin's primary armament is a set of alternating light autocannons loaded with incendiary rounds for hit and runs against surface targets, the small complement of two missiles provide limited deterrence against air targets.

The Javelin is built around the doctrine of fielding large numbers of cheap to maintain aircraft where jets may be unnecessary or cost prohibitive. Sharing it's 16-cylinder rotary engine with the Land Systems Division's SandCat IFV has allowed the Javelin a low development cost to boot.
