The USS Saratoga is the lead ship in the Saratoga class of Guided Missile Destroyer Leaders. The class was designed to serve as the flagship of high speed destroyer squadrons as well as be able to handle a multitude of different threats from aircraft to submarines. Their powerful nuclear plant gives them extremely high speed allowing them to move quickly across the battlefield. Proceedings billed the Saratoga Class DLGNs as "anti-everything" in their 1981 issue.

Features/ASM Usage:
1.) Go to CIC and turn on tacking/search radar
2.) Select a target from the list (it will outline in yellow)
2.) Press TR2 and the selected target will highlight in red
3.)Arm the missile launcher (middle panel 1 row back)
4.) You are now tracking this target and the launcher will point towards it.
5.) To fire press the fire button

-The forward missile launchers (GIM-2A) is a surface to air mount and when armed will automatically search for and track air targets independent of the other tracking system, when armed press fire to launch a missile.

-The "Firewall" AGS is designed to tackle most surface targets and will automatically search and track surface targets as well as auto fire when armed
