Gorkamorka starter gang 4

Description
A purpose built underdog gang but with full kit, a helluva Truk with Eavy Shoota.

Da Deff Rollers
Are a mob for those that just cannot stand not having every bit of kit on every Ork in their gang right from the word begin.
To top it off this gang comes in under the Teef points limit, giving the player a lower mob rating an therefore they roll the dice and get the benefit of often picking the scenario to be played. Furthermore since they cost 88 Teef and come in at a mob rating of 103 they likely get big benefits if they win a match.

Deff Rollers Gang
Nob - Flak Armor, Choppa mans the Eavy Shoota of the Deff Truk.
Spanner - Flak Armor, Frag Stickbomb and knife
Slaver - Flak Armor, Frag Stickbomb and Knife
Yoof - Flak Armor, Slugga, Knife drives da Deff Truk
Yoof - Flak Armor, Shoota, has a knife but its unlikely to matter cause you can only switch 1 weapon per melee combat until you exit melee combat and then you can pull out your other 1 handed weapon....So why even bother no point.

Deff Truk
Eavy Shoota

Gameplan,
So win or lose, you have 12 Teef in your Teef Horde before your 1st match even...After that match you can buy your Gubbins, the gubbins to be purchased are Reinforced Ram, Extra Ammo 4 Teef, and 2X Extra Armor Plates +8 Teef.
The Extra Ammo allows you to ignore 1 failed ammo test on the big gun.
The Reinforced Ram allows you to reroll a d6 when you ram someone for number of auto penetrating hits.
The Extra Armor Plates give your vehicle a d6 invulnerable save for all penetrating hits even collissions, crashes and so on. Each plate gives an additive modifier so 6+, 5+ up to 4+ this roll is not modified by weapons, its invulnerable.
Also bear in mind your armor value is not modified by weapons either which is silly given that Armor value is so low already being 8 for most locations except for engine which is 10.

The Deff Rollers are for players that are so dumbfounded by the idea of making a gang with lots of vehicles that they just opt in for 1 Truk may as well be the best vehicle then with the best gun and may as well get it the best upgrades right after the first match. There are players that cannot bear not to have armor saves on all their guys and the right kit on each man, Deff Rollers accomplishes this, although I cant say its the best comp to play right from start it certainly is doable right away.

Deff Rollers have very few models, can you believe there are actually people that play that way on purpose?
6 Models puts Deff Rollers in a low end income bracket, so they take away a fair few teef from their matches IF they live...

Oh wait...Actual Gameplan...
Um...Survive that is a gameplan right....
Ok but seriously Truk with Eavy Shoota, pick out a target an smash it good...Use your truk to keep clear of other vehicles and try to single out a single vehicle an blow it to smithereans but if you cant do that just ram it especially smaller vehicles like Bikes and even Buggy Sized vehicles dont hurt you so bad.
Against Wartraks, you really want to try to get behind them its all about the positioning and staying out of their big guns view finder.

Find scenario's that force the opponent player to use fewer vehicles or even guys...Occasionally select Da Rumble, since they can only bring 1 vehicle...They will hate you for it but since you only have 1 Truk to begin with it is your best bet for surviving. Against other 1 vehicle mobs consider selecting Da Convoy, hopefully your the attacker!
Rolling Road is a good scenario if you manage to get Kustom Job Faster, since you could end up being the defender you want Faster so you can get out of there quick.

The Weakness of a small gang is exactly what Deff Rollers suffers from, few models means early bottling out can happen when just 1/4 of your models goes out of action basically 2 models means bottle tests from then on.
A small mob can not afford for its miners to go to the injury box, since those models bring in income from the mine. While a Large mob that has 5 or 6 miners can likely afford for 1/2 of its mob to go to the injury box and lose all its matches for large streaks but still has plenty of teef to spend! Your small mob has to get its hands on scrap fast and make wins to make up the difference. It is just my opinion that small mobs are risky but there are quite a few players I have met that insist that such comps are the most powerful I have yet to see them played well or right.

With a single vehicle you can not afford to ignore having Extra Armor Plates ASAP, so extra truks with the kit are provided in the download.
That is your first match upgrade,
Afterwards....
It is a race towards getting as much of the next model ranking 7-9 in one go....Basically you want to purchase 2 Yoofs and a Spanner even if they only come with knives.
Unless your opponent is Muties IF that is the case you want to pool your teef together until you have enough for a Bike, Trak, or Buggy then purchase that with a Spanner. IF no Mutie you are perfectly safe to pile as many boyz as you can fit into your one truk.

The next issue about small gang is that Muties will absolutely love or hate playing against you depends on what your model count is vs how highly equipped you make them. Muties already play a low model count game and their scenarios reflect that, they will make you play scenarios where your number of footers depends on how many vehicles you can actually field...Which is bad for Da Deff Rollers cause they only have the one.

Deff Rollers are already fairly well equipped at the start of the game, no having to put teef towards getting flak armor or a weapon, its not needed but if you wanted to play a small number of guys indefinately you have to invest in better armor, getting your driver and gunner into Eavy Armor with a shield would be a sure bet, but that will cost 16 Teef!
That might be handy when playing Da Fight and most Mutie encounters but not in almost all other encounters with everyone else!
