Descrição
Allows you to upgrade your Handgunners into bayonet-equipped versions that are better suited for melee combat. The bayonet units have spearmen melee stats.

You need to research a technology first that is locked behind building a Foundry (or Armoury for Markus Wulfhart).

The required mods on the right aren't actually required, but if you don't have them a few of the new units pickable the custom battles will be invisible if used in battle.
The main Upgrade Units mod is required, but you can disable all the unit upgrade the main Upgrade Units mod comes with if you so wish, details on that mod's page.

The custom rifle with bayonet model and the new animation for Handgunners are from the [LIG]Affixed bayonet (handgunner rework) mod by Less Is Good. My gratitude for the permission to use them in this mod and kudos to him for the great work he has done.

Compatibility:
Should work in Multiplayer.
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SFO SINCE IT MODIFIES THE EMPIRE TECHNOLOGY TREE.
Don't use with mods that modify the Empire technology tree.
If used with overhauls the unit stats won't be in balance with the rest of the units in the game.

I just wish they'd turn the musket round and bash skulls with the butt end. there is an under representation of musket clubbing

1) Can we get this into WH3?

2) Is it possible to just make these guys a seperate unit to Handgunners instead of an upgrade? Say unlocked in the tier IV artillery building and requires a blacksmith? That way you can remove the upgrade units requirement.
