Description
This item is now a part of the Antibirth Item Pack mod. This mod will likely not continue to get updated.

Menorah was one of the few Antibirth items that got cut in Repentance, so we decided to bring it back!



𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡

- Spawns a menorah familiar that causes Isaac's tears to be multiplied by the number of lit candles.
- The menorah starts with one candle lit, and each time Isaac is hit, another candle is lit, up to a maximum of 7 tears per shot.
- Being hit an additional time will release blue flames that damage enemies and set the menorah to 0 for a bit, effectively making him blindfolded. After that time has passed, the candle will reset itself back to 1 lit candle.
- Halves tear delay and then multiplies it by the sum of lit candles plus 1. This means that Isaac has the same tear delay at one candle, and 50% more tear delay at 2 candles, and so on.

Wow, thanks so much for the playtesting all of these things. This standalone version of Menorah is, as of now, discontinued. The Menorah in Antibirth Item Pack has had more updates. Have you tested that version?

my friend and I tested ALL the tear modifiers and found a few bugs

tractor beam - visaul bug, but it works correctly

circle of protection - endlessly
creates tech x shots on the character
(how???)

c section - visual bug, but it works correctly

spirit sword - does not make several spins, only a shot with a few tears, which is absolutely useless and not worth such a large KD

trisagion - probably a mistake of the game itself (I know it's a bug when there are a lot of these shots), trisagion shots stay in one place after the first shot and do nothing (they don't even disappear)

technology zero - consider the menorah as a tear and the lightning is VERY strangely induced, there are no tears between them

jacobs ladder - same problem

the ludovico technique - lowers your tears but does nothing

chocolate milk - shots always cause the same damage, it doesn't matter if you charge the shot

Bug with trisageon, spawns a lot of immobile trisagion tears when you shoot.

oh, alright. itd be fine if it werent for the fact that it makes em look like regular tears instead of flames

Hmm I don't think it's supposed to. Super duper sorry but we probably won't be updating this mod as we've refocused our attention on other mods. Late merry Christmas btw!

I tested it and holy light still prices with menorah, so the issue must be something else
