use the selection tool to grab a pod, then paste it on your plane. to make them fire, you can hook composite from the seat to the hardpoint.

I have a few dozen planes from as far back as 2019 that are mounted perfectly with guns.

i mean, what about older planes? or planes that cant fit guns? this is a cleaner solution if you don't have space for an inboard gun.
