Iowa Class Battleship (BB-61) 1945 Refit

Description
Iowa Class Battleship

The Iowa class was a class of fast battleships, designed around the Second London Naval Treaty's escalator clause for the US Navy. They displaced 47,825 long tons at standard load, and had an overall length of 887 ft. They were capable of steaming at 33 knots, and had a range of 15,000 nautical miles. Each ship was armed with 9, 16-Inch 50 Caliber rifles, mounted in 3 turrets with 3 guns each. They also consisted a secondary armament of 20, 5-inch dual purpose guns, mounted in 10 turrets with 2 guns each, along with numerous 20mm Oerlikon and 40mm Bofors anti aircraft guns (In 1945). 6 ships were ordered between 1939 and 1940, while only 4 were completed, USS Iowa, USS Missouri, USS New Jersey, and USS Wisconsin.

During World War II, they severed as fast escorts for the Fast Carrier Task Force, while also providing shore bombardment with their 16-inch guns. Later on in life they would continue to provide naval gun fire support during the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf Wars, until finally being deactivated and turned into museum ships in the early 2000s.

The ship modeled here is USS-Iowa (BB-61) herself in her 1945 refit, wearing its unique MS-32A design 1B camouflage pattern.

Unfortunately, that's just a limitation of how its been implemented in game, as it uses the advanced wind turbine as the base. Many other ships on the workshop function the same way
