Diesel Burning Steam Engine

Description
This is a Diesel Burning Steam Engine. Like an oil burner, but diesel! Because oil burners are not in game (yet, I hope.)

At ~112° Burner Temperature, the burner consumes around 0.4 to 0.5 liters of diesel per second, and outputs around 16 RPS max (without load).

I made this because coal is such a pain to store and I want to suffer with steam.

Thanks to EndoM8rix for fixing the pressure issue.

I have, but the heat transfer was too slow. I might be doing it wrong but I'll leave that up to smarter people than I.

Hey Generic_BOT.
have you thought of using modular engines as a boiler?

well the trick is that, you run the engine in the thermal twilight zone

I built a few of these a couple months ago. currently have one powering a cargo ship. works best when you use a second engine to spin the first through a gearbox ;)

well i'm not gonna make another one because this one is probably you can't get higher than 114 degrees on any engine, so why bother making another version.

just so you know temperature is determined by rpm not throttle, but you properly know this already.

p.s. bigger engine don´t produce a higher volume of heat.

hope this helps :steamhappy:
