Dragon's Blaze Alternative VFX

Description
This mod alters Dragon's Blaze (Lizard racial skill) visual effect for players who prefer a plain fire breath instead of summoning a dragon head.

- Pre-cast animation has been redesigned
- Removed the dragon head effect
- Cone of fire now spawns from character's mouth and reacts to head movement

This mod has been tested on female and male Lizard PCs.

You should also remove the other summon heads like the cobra's head which spawns behind the player when using Silencing Stare.

I'd be willing to pay you to make this mod fully functional with Adaptive Lizards. Message me if you're up for it.

这个模组改变了龙之烈焰(蜥蜴种族技能)的视觉效果,适合喜欢普通火焰吐息而不是召唤龙头的玩家。

I see. Well it's nice anyway.

Hi, my mod is unrelated to Adaptive Lizards so no, the VFX change will only affect standard Dragon's Blaze at best, or even not work at all (it might depend on mod loading order).

It would be also quite a lot of work to do because each custom skill introduced in Adaptive Lizards would need to have its VFX edited and hooked up properly in the skill data file.

Does this work with Adaptive Lizards?

Love it honestly, makes more sense. Is a little jarring to have a race be able to summon dragons that breathe fire for them but nothing else

Nice! This is amazing. While the 1-meter increase wasn't bad and made little to no difference, it did feel a bit against the mod??? To have it.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

I agree with your suggestion. It felt weird to make a balance change to the skill while my original intent for this mod was to make visual override with no "side effect".

In the latest version I have reverted the cone range to 7 meters.

Honestly, keep it at the base-game range and this would be perfect. I mean it is perfect now, but it might be a bit strong. Not significantly, but a little stronger.
