Description
This mod seeks to fix the problem that certain DLC and Modded armours have when their default Torso is 'full body' (Torso, Arms, Legs in one piece), where other parts are generated, causing horrible clipfest monstrosities.

To make this work, this mod Forces non-Torso parts for supported armours to be completely blank. This now occurs each time you equip supported armours.

Supported Armours
The armours supported are added in the XcomGame.ini file in this mod and are fully configurable incase there are other armours you want to add support for.

By Default, Supported Armours are:
  • Alien Ruler Armours
  • TLE 'Class' Armours
  • Infiltrator Disguises - Civilan and ADVENT
  • Prototype Armoury's - Prototype TLE Armours
  • The Hive - Hive Queen Armour
  • Resistance Warrior Armour

Known Issue
If you change the Torso cosmetic for these armours you will roll random cosmetics in some or all of the other cosmetic parts categories. To fix this, UNEQUIP, THEN RE-EQUIP the armour with the full body torso. If using APPEARANCE MANAGER please ensure you delete the Stored Appearance for the relevant armour before you do this.

Incompatible with Unrestricted Customisation if using a standard (not full body) torso as your main torso in customisation.

Credits and Thanks
Credit to RustyDios for taking several hours to work on the code with me (and yet another awesome modpreview), and Kexx, Mitzruti for their input.
Major Credit and Thanks goes to TeslaRage and Xymanek (Astral Descend), for providing new code which fixed the original issue this mod faced.

I'll look at getting a localisation fix posted soon.

To follow-up on @AtomicDeathclaw's point; this also affects the EventListener_DIP script.

In the Content.ini:
TemplateName="RightArm" - should be - TemplateName="Empty_RightArm",

The missing "Empty_" needs to be added to RightArm_F, LeftArm, and LeftArm_F

And add missing "Empty_Legs" and "Empty_Legs_F" to the XComGame.int file.

(Maybe also a UIListener to put in Icon on a future update?)

I did run into a problem with the appearance manager where if we have a saved full-body it would remove everything including body cosmetics like gloves and their arms and legs.

This removes the arms, shoulders, legs and the like if I'm using a body type like Max's classic armor on the prototype TLE armor

I found a small issue, the left and right arms template names don't match with the localization file, and legs part is completely missing from the localization file

A LOT of ini and localization edits. LoL. And no, not using UC, as I prefer the methods of Appearance Manager.
Shame, because I love the ideas behind this mod. I still run into issues with clipping. But using it basically undoes A LOT of work I had to do to get Civilian Disguises to be more compatible with a bunch of stuff. And it still isn't ideal. It's a great mod, though. Love the concept and the execution.

Also yes, if the selected Torso is not a 'full body' type (arms and legs included as part of the torso) then those parts will disappear. The point of this mod is to ensure additional parts don't overlap the arms/legs of a full body torso.

@Zigg Price I'm curious how you managed to get other cosmetics working for Civilian Disguises as they are a new armour type. Are you also using UC alongside Appearance Manager?

Just so I'm following:

I have a few characters that have a mix of More Clothes and male/female clothing pack cosmetics setup in Appearance Manager when equipping Civilian Disguise. When I put the Civilian Disguise item onto this solider, it will show the torso I have selected, but arms and legs go away, because this mod is designed to make those spots blank to make the full body Disguise item work "properly". This will happen every time I equip said soldier with the Civilian Disguise item?

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2147819175 already does it for the Anarchy's Children dlc in an automated way so it's not hard to do
