Description
Knights Templar World Wonder
(Inspired by the CIV3 Knights Templar World Wonder)

Expansion Compatability:
--Compatible with all three expansion levels so far as I know.
--For Vanilla I am using the Hagia Sophia wonder splash and audio.
--For Gods and Kings I am using the wonder splash from The Alhambra Wonder.
--For BNW I am using the wonder splash from The RedFort Wonder.
--The mod will automatically use what is needed for the expansion you have (Vanilla, BNW or GK). You the subscriber do not need to take any action to get it to work with one expansion or the other.

Mod Conflicts:
none known except for possible dll-mod clashes noted at the bottom of the description

Knights Templar World Wonder
Knights Templar is available with Theology and adds a free Templar Crusader unit every 10 turns. It ceases giving units with Rifling, whereupon it adds +2 Culture per turn for the rest of the game.

* note that the "10 turns" mentioned scales with game speed.
--On Quick GameSpeed it will be every 7 turns, on Epic every 15 turns.
--It will also scale to custom game-speed mods based on the "TrainPercent" setting within such a custom game-speed mod for the game-speed introduced by the custom gamespeed mod.

The Templar Crusader Unit:
--can ONLY be acquired by building the Knights Templar World Wonder
--same combat strength as a Roman Legion
--can attack multiple times in a turn (since it has the standard foot-soldier 2-moves-per-turn this means two attacks)
--can build forts.
--upgrades to rifleman
--Templar Crusader Units are 'born' with the XP and promotions they would be entitled to if they were a normal unit of the same basic combat-class (melee) and they were produced in that city in the normal way(s). This includes such things as the Morale promotion and the Zulu unique promotion for melee units. It also will include any XP or promotions added to the game by other mods so long as those XP and/or promotions are granted by buildings or wonders and those buildings or wonders are constructed in the city.

Credits and Thanks:
--whoward69 gave me a lot of coaching help with the lua and gave me a few smaller bits "pre-packaged" as noted within the lua, but most of the lua for this I developed. The utility for retrieving data across saved games is Pazyryk's TableSaverLoader in combination with DarkScythe's TSL Serializer Add-on.
-- Nutty from the civfanatics forum gave me help and advice on getting the Templar Crusader unit inserted into the game
-- I'm using Danrell's Templar Longswordsmen from the civ5_ancient_unit_pack19_crusader unit pack on the Civfanatics forum for the Templar Crusader unit model, so credit and thanks go to him for the unit model
-- Xarsus (Azuriel) did the unit flag icon.
--I've borrowed icons and artwork from the game for icons, wonder splash, etc. because I just really suck at artwork.
--currently I'm using the chivalry tech icon for the wonder and the Templar Crusader unit, and the Red Fort wonder splash and audio. Double-using the same Wonder-Splash is allowed and has no negative effect on the wonders from which the art was borrowed.

Please feel free to leave comments or questions on balance or why I picked the techs I used for creating the wonder and expiring the free units effect, or the increment between free Crusader units given.

1. Copy or drag the xxxx.civ5mod file from your downbloads folder to your Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS/ folder.
2. Then start the game and go into the MODS menu.
3. Wait about 30 seconds and the mod should unpack itself from the zipped form and be ready to use.

Note regarding dll mods
* Mods that use dll to accomplish their effect may break this mod if the other mod has not been updated to make it's custom version of the game's dll conform to at least game patch version 1.0.3.276. This patch was released approx Oct2014, so if a dll mod has not been updated since then, it will probably break this mod.
* Versions of W.Howard's DLL - Various Mods Compnents mod should not cause deleterious effects since he specifically gave me code to make his mods "fixed" in earlier versions of the VMC mod. But if the only dll mod you are using is an older version of W.Howard's DLL-VMC, you should probably update to the latest version and this absolutely will fix any conflict between Knights Templar and the older DLL - VMC mod.

I've updated to a V15 of the mod to address the issues being reported. Hopefully this will fix the issue with Vanilla and GnK trying to load the wrong wondersplash.

It uses existing game art.

If you don't have BNW that could be causing a problem but it should not be since the mod is structured to use Vanila assets, or GnK assets, or BNW assets depending on which expansion you have.

But if you don't have all the dlc for BNW, for example, it is possible this is causing the problem, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why this would be so. I'm not using or referencing anything that is not available in the base expansion for each expansion level.

Well, it works - cause I've seen the AI build it every game, but I've never made it in time. Maybe you could downprioritize it a bit (if you are still working on modding this game), cause seems to me most AI will strive to Crusade first.
