Impactful Bracing Charge Defense Passive

Description
This is a second mini-test-mod to make bracing more responsive and impactful. This iteration adds a short damage increase to charge defense units similar to Toumai's new Dwarf Phalanx mod. The mod affects all vanilla units and dlcs with charge defense. Does not include your favorite mod unit(s).


The good: bracing abilities works accelerating your troops and increasing their damage output after the impact and removing some acceleration from the enemy. No speed is added only responsiveness to the charge defender so the braced defender can make some attacks in return.


The bad: this ability should only apply when braced and not moving, however charging does not count as moving. Bazinga! Would be happier if the ability didn't activate on the charge defender charging. CA could produce the correct deactivation, so it's worth testing the bracing interaction.


The ugly: the damage bonuses of this ability will proc against non-large units for Charge Defense Large. I am fine with spears having a slight advantage when bracing, but it's worth testing to make sure it's not overwhelming swordsmen who are supposed to be their soft counter. Obviously, CA could adjust this too or they might like it and work with it assuming they even look in this rabbit hole.

Thank you for responding, but Toumai's already nerfed his mod, so yeah, i won't be borrowing your work. False alarm, sorry.
P.S. Maybe in the near future i going to you use it as template for my mods.

Hey there, can i use your tables n' stuff as part of my SFO Submod for Toumai's Dwarf Phalanx mod? The thing is, Toumai's version is a bit too OP, and it screws autoresolve by a lot, on the contrary your mod works just fine. Ofc i'm going to give you a credit.

I presume it is for the braced infantry(with charge defence) to catch any cavalry that made the mistake of charging them; whilst also under the effect of de-acceleration given to them from the infantry.

Why a unit that stands still needs an acceleration increase?
