Muenchen Ostbahnhof (brutal timetable)

Description
Warning: this map is hard, verging on unfair. A more reasonable version (same map, different timetable) can be found here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2610212741

Manage the eastern entrance and exit of Munich's busy S-Bahn backbone. Two times 33 trains on two tracks in a single hour are scheduled. Can you cope with the high frequency of arrivals and departures or will you cause a logjam?

The track layout is mostly accurate, with the exception of the sidings area between Ostbahnhof and Leuchtenbergring. The arrivals and departures at Ostbahnhof are based on the real weekday timetable, with a number of changes to increase the difficulty. There are also a few surprises, so be on your guard.

The map has a lot of pre-built sensors and setting them up properly is part of the puzzle. If you are not yet familiar with arrival and departure sensors you should learn to use them on an endless map.

62 minutes, 63 trains, 2388 points for a perfect score (some penalties are unavoidable, but 2388 points can be achieved).

Best timetable map in the workshop imho. All around very challenging and you have to plan far ahead if you want to get every single train on time, but it's possible (even without stopping). The train that breaks down and requires a replacement and maintenance is just the cherry on top, amazing!

I found this map after playing the "Inside the coachyard" map. I came here for the challenge and loved every situation. I like that your maps require some critical thinking and on your feet problem solving. My favorite challenge in this map was the Giesing breakdown - you gave players a choice on how to handle and prioritize certain trains. I got a 97% and will probably play again. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!

I personally don't care for the endless map version of this game. I'm just here to play awesome timetable maps like this one.

Thank you for this! This is the coolest map I've played, and I've played around 60. It's the first time I felt like I really had to think and check times. It's a great map to play on 1x without pausing. I managed with 3 bad platforms and 5 minutes delay (2377). And I agree with the suggestion by kempo95. I was checking the times hoping that would be the case :)

Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed it. 2344 is pretty good for a first attempt. I'll have a look at the change you suggested.

Very fun map. Requires some creative thinking.
Managed to get a score of 2344 on my first try.
If I may add a suggestion though.
I think it would be more realistic if you would switch the second half of the schedules of these 2 trains. http://prntscr.com/1tmj66e
So that S2y04x06 needs to be at Ostbahnhof at 08:46 and S5y02c03 needs to be at Ostbahnhof at 08:50. That way you can park them behind each other. That would be fun I think.
