This mod adds the Martini–Henry Rifle used between 1871 and 1918. Designed by Friedrich von Martini.
The Rifle in this mod is the MkIV variant, this is the first mod I have ever made for Rimworld, thanks for the help Mehni and others on the Rimworld discord :)

@Danarchy - Apparently you don't actually know how firearms work... /Realistically/ a Martini-Henry would be significantly more accurate than a revolver, and do more damage. A bolt-action's rate of fire is also faster than that of a breech-loader, until it's time to reload the bolt-action and even then the use of stripper clips would largely negate the issue.

With the game mechanics available in RimWorld (for example the lack of magazine capacity since ammunition isn't counted without mods), a Martini-Henry should be roughly comparable to a bolt-action. Maybe slightly worse, but not by much. Factoring in game mechanics I'd think of a B-AR as more of a sidegrade than a proper upgrade vs the M-H due to limitations with the game. I think it would be better to view this mod as a "This is for better variety or roleplay" more than a "This is a stepping-stone between a bow and a bolt-action rifle" since Rimworld's tech tree makes such huge jumps in firearms technology.

Yes, it could probably be balanced a little better. I'll take your suggestions into account with the next update.

It still feels insanely overpowered to me. Realistically, it should do slightly more damage than the revolver, but have the same accuracy. The range should be close to but not more than the bolt-action while having a higher rate of fire.
But then again, i was just looking for a token lever-action mod and this may be something more specific than that.

Pretty cool to finally get to try out these mods, though. They have been sitting on my favourites list for a while.

Updated: damage now 30, range now 40. Thanks for your feedback! This was a very old mod, and I don't usually change the settings of mods I update that aren't mine unless I get reports that it's totally broken.

Thanks for your feedback; from my own use they do seem pretty powerful. I will do an update to balance this weapon a bit more shortly.
