Description
BACKGROUND
Launched in September 2021, the R.S.V. Avala is the fastest full-size RSV (Research/Survey Vessel) of OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency. Designed specifically for projects requiring a quick deployment, the Avala can serve as the base of operations for an array of worldwide marine research projects in all types of conditions. Equipped with a rear deck moon-pool, the Avala has dive capabilities with the on-board Lil' Scut II submersible) and remote controlled SAAP mC-FI. The rear helipad houses a Ray LX-36 Micro Gyrocopter, and the stern cradles an AB Marine 10-AB RHIB. The RHIB and helicopter can signal the Avala to enable the AP and automatically come to their current location. The cargo deck features ISO standard container slots and can fit up to 6 containers. The Avala was built as a luxury vessel in as well as a work ship. The vessel contains private luxury living quarters, a mess deck with pool table and bar, a sundeck with hottub, an operations room, a conference room, a laboratory, an infirmary, a decompression chamber and a dive room. As with all OMUA vessels, all systems are designed to be operated by a 1-man crew, in case of emergencies. A standard operations crew of 12 and up to 25 other staff.

TIPS
  • The ship is designed to be able to be disembarked with a helicopter or skiff while it is on Autopilot. The AP system has a timer to allow disembarkation, as well as a toggle-able "Boat Launch Sensor" and "Helipad Landing Sensor" that allow for your return onto the ship assuming it has not reached its destination and stopped. These toggle-able buttons enable a laser, that if crossed with your helicopter or boat, will stop the ship, allowing you to board.

I'm a noob with diving bells on this game. Are you supposed to be able to walk outside of the bell underwater or do you just sit in the bell? If so, how would one go about this? What is the procedure?
youngblood243 19 Apr @ 2:25pm
how deep can the dive bell go and how do you set it up to go deeper than like 30-40m?

You use the large crane, attached to the top with the cable!
