Anyways, like I said and you are acknowledging -- people do frequently violate Steam's rules on the workshop and moderation often doesn't do anything about it. It isn't just sexual acts, there is a lot of pirated games uploaded to the workshop and very rarely is action taken against the users. It isn't uncommon for the only punishment to be temporary bans either and the infringing items are not removed.

The wallpaper itself doesn't need to go to waste either, since it is only removed from the workshop and the author should retain the local project on their system. The recommendation is to use these wallpapers privately or share them on another platform.

I make reports to the developers as well as Steam moderation. I have no idea how this could be mistakenly banned, as I'm sure you agree fingering is definitely a sexual act. It isn't as if you were targeted by the way, I only saw this because you posted something on Reddit. If I see something that is violating Steam's rules, then I report it regardless of the size of the user's following.

Needless to say, everyone puts this kind of content up and it usually never gets taken down. The problem comes when people target smaller artists rather than the bigger ones, and all of the hours put into animation and artwork goes to waste. I appreciate where you are coming from, I do, but the problem isn't with my tiny group of 20 something followers, but more so with the bigger publishers with over 15k. If you really want to make a difference I suggest contacting them personally, and perhaps Steam Support as well.

Believe it or not I actually did get banned for a day or two! When I contacted Steam Support they were very apologetic and ruled it out as a mistake (aka someone reported it and it got auto banned w/o getting checked first). I understand your concern, and if you'd like to explain in more detail feel free to pm/dm me!

I can't say I agree with that. When publishing your project to the workshop you must select an age rating and it clearly outlines that while nude drawings are permitted, sexual acts will get your workshop item banned.

"The preview image must be suitable for everyone and must never show full nudity." is also clearly stated in this prompt before you select an age-rating.

I think "1st person perspective filming of the two naked cat girls (+fingering)" clearly constitutes a sexual act and you don't seem to have made any kind of changes. Nothing more to say though since you can pretty much do whatever you want as Steam's moderation won't do anything anyways.

thanks for letting me know! the guidelines are honestly pretty vague when it comes to finalizing the project and uploading it to the community. i'll change those things asap :)

Sexual acts are not allowed on the Steam Workshop and will get your wallpaper banned. Preview images are also required to be appropriate for all ages.
