P08 Starcruiser - Heavy twin-engine cargo jet

Description
The P08 Starcruiser is a heavy* lift twin-engine cargo jet, capable of bringing cargo and light vehicles hundreds of kilometers.

The Starcruiser
Starcruiser is about as large a plane as I can be bothered to make. Planes are easier in some ways than big boats, because they are usually very simple shapes such as a big cylinder with flat noses. However, boats don't need strong, non-imploding landing gear, or all functions and instrumentation in one spot. You can also crash a boat with out killing everyone aboard. Alas, this is what I've been working on during incredibly boring TAFE lessons.

NOTABLE FEATURES of the STARCRUISER
1. Big Cargo bay with all the rope you could ever need and a big ♥♥♥♥-off door
2. Two side doors at the end of the cargo bay
3. Two big turbofan engines with 9500 units of fuel between them
4. Fly-by-wire and altitude hold
5. Full suite of instrumentation and lighting
6. (simple) Radar
7. Refueling probe
8. Fairly sturdy landing gear
9. Repair equipment under the front of the landing gear sponsons

Taking off
1. Taxing should be done with the throttle at 0.15-0.20.
2. Don't underestimate the steering. It will make that turn.
3. Leave Fly-By-Wire and Altitude Hold OFF. Program in your desired altitude, but don't turn it on.
4. Throttle up after you straighten up on the runway.
5. The plane will naturally try and pull up, and I've left the controls very sensitive, so if you don't watch it you will have a tail strike, which will break the aft door.
6. Clear the runway, turn on the FBW and Altitude Hold, and yaw to your desired heading

Refueling
1. Find the refueling plane. Stay at just under 400m altitude.
2. Line up the target. You usually need to be around just over half throttle.
3. Arm the refueling probe (top panel).
4. Dock. I'm not going to lay it out for you, i don't have the patience to write. Get the probe in the drogue, go fast or slow.
5. Open the left and right fuel valves to let the fuel in the engines)
6. Wait until full. I'd recommend setting the altitude hold to just below the tanker, just for safety.
7. Press the release button, pull back the throttle and get some distance. Un-arm the probe, close the valves, throttle up and return to your set course.

Big Bay in the Back
Starcruiser can fit small trucks, utilities and cars as well as any cargo that fits in the largo cargo bay in the rear. The cargo bay has three connector tracks, two dozen mag-alls, two dozen winches and rope anchors with plenty of rope for fastening cargo to the floor. An electrical connector is provided so that you can provide power to cargo if you need it.

Fastening instructions
1. Drive or place cargo in the bay, preferably as close to the middle as possible
2. I recommend leaving the handbrake and/or mag-alls off for now
3. Using the winches and rope anchors on the cargo, fasten the cargo to the floor. Wheeled vehicles are likely to run up and down the bay a little bit, but try and fasten as much as you can.
4. If you haven't, and your cargo needs it, turn the mag-alls on.
5. Close the door and spool up the engines.

Some things to note are
1. There are no pumps between the two wing fuel tanks. Keep the valves closed or it'll slosh between each tank and you'll starve one of the engines.
2. Don't AFK while in a thunderstorm because every thing goes by the circuit breaker in the cockpit, and lightening will trip it. Luckily the plane pitches up, not down.
3. *It's heavy for an intermediate Stormworks player like me, not comparable to any other creation or IRL vehicle.

Last time I checked the engines already have gens, the pump and power switches already do things. Not sure what you are talking about, with all due respect.
