Description
A mod that allows you to dig snowballs from an ice sheet and use them to build walls and animal flaps. Now more compatible. Technicly a beta, might have a dev error(now only sometimes), just ignore that. I intend to flush out the details more when I have more time. Thanks to @ZzZombo for advise, and Alias on discord
!!If you are having compatiblity issues please, unsubscribe, open then close rimworld, then resubscribe/!!

Try my new RusttAnddSnoww mod, it contains this mod and much more https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2605687271

Holy crap this mod is perfect for my Avatar themed playthrough I was looking for so long for a mod like this for my Water Tribe playthrough. Would it be possible for you to add different resources like possibly ice? It could be an upgrade from snow and could even be used to build weapons and/or armor.

I haven't played this mod yet so if that's already a thing my bad!

ZzZombo, I did some experiments, and while I do not know why, the mod would not update within my client until I opened rimworld without, my mod downloaded, closed it, and then resubscribed to it. Sorry for the hassle, but this should resolve it. Thanks again for all your help!

Sorry, unless it's Steam being weird again I don't see anything changed. I have had the mod watched for changes on disk and the offending files didn't change a single bit I'm afraid. Also the previously linked mod got an update in a fork, so there is still one reason less to use this mod. I'm sorry, I tried to be helpful.

Should be fixed now.

Thanks for the insight, I'll look into doing that when I get a chance

And doing so properly shouldn't have any impact on existing savegames.

The message says you include a def named as a vanilla def, thus overwriting it. You shouldn't do that. Instead all you need is to add corresponding patches, and for your mod specifically all you need is to add a stuff category to existing defs instead of defining them anew in order to have them buildable from the new stuff from your mod, and it's actually much simpler (and better!) to do than what do you have right now.

@ZzZombo I am assuming it is likely conflicting another mod, you could try reversing the mod order for now. When I get home I know a way I could guarantee it working, but it might wreak any saves people have with my mod.
