Description
So you are here ?
Ah.. you wanna be somewhere else.
You've come to the right place.

Point the place you wanna go to with your mouse around you
With ModOptions you have 3 choices
  • Press the key (F1 by default) you have set under: OPTIONS > KEY BINDINGS > Player Control > Move To
  • Left Mouse Click on ground.
  • Left Mouse Double Click on ground. (default)

You can also activate a cursor
  • None. (default)
  • On the destination of your movement.

Use contextual menu option "Move To Here" on map
  • This is a stupid idea because you are likely to release your attention and get killed.
  • This is a stupid idea because pathfinding is not made for long distance and will fail on big obstacles.
  • Have fun anyway.

Information & Limitation
  • When used with high speed, the game has problems spawning objects and is late on pathfinding so it is not recommended.
  • Cursor position not available from Move To request on map.
  • Works in solo and multiplayer.
  • For multiplayer server you can override user configuration from sandbox Mod AutoMoveTo options.
  • All your questions will be answered by the community on the Official Project Zomboid Discord[discord.gg] mod_support channel.

Just tried a method.
Load the save without the mod > quit > load the save with the mod.
This make the mod works again.

As CHRONIC343 said, I can confirm the mod stop working if new character are created in the same save of dead character.

@Tchernobill thank you it worksd and look great with the little green circle. Though I am having a problem when I die and create a new character after dying The next time I load up a new character double clicking stops working and i only see the green circle.

@CHRONIC343 yes, through modoption select cursor behaviour > On active target.
Check also your sandbox options, they are likely to override mod options (this is made for server control in multiplayer but impacts also solo).

Anyway to still have the option to enable and see the green square when clicking the location you want to walk to?

different Idea, is it possible to make a mod that when w is held you walk toward wherever the mouse pointer is and when s is held you walk away from the mouse pointer?

minimap option to move to works only in normal mode from version 1.14
