Description
Ever got sick of microing your 10 pawn aim and fire modes? Want them to be able to make their own decisions and don't rely only on you? Well once again, I got you! With this mod pawns will switch their fire and aim modes themselves.



This mod adds simple algorithm that figures out what fire and aim mode to use before shooting. Pawns will use most fitting modes depending on distance to target. If target is almost in melee pawns won't waste time for aimed shots.Depending on gun these decisions will vary offerring way more effective way for combat. For example machine guns won't try to snipe, but instead will supress enemies. Rifles will try to use aimed mode only switching to snapshot in closest distances. And assault rifles will try to fit into any situation you can throw into them.

If you want you can always toggle fire and aim modes on any pawn with just a click. To reenable Aimbot for this pawn, simply click appearing gizmo.



By default this system also affects AI pawns, while disabling CE algorithm. You can disable this in mod settings if you wish.

Perfomance wise this mod uses only lightweight functions that are gentle on your CPU. Allthough with a lot of pawns shooting at the same time, impact might be noticable.

There seems to be error in About.xml.
In <modDependenciesByVersion> there are two <v1.3> nodes, which causes warning in console. Not a huge deal, but can be easly fixed with next more meaningful update (if that ever comes).

How good is this working in 1.4? my pawns switch fire modes all the time and start missing everything

There seems to be no settings to disable the default algorithm for all pawns. There is a mod settings window, but it is empty.
