Godwit - Light Amphibious Aircraft

Description
Godwit - Light Amphibious Aircraft

Previously I was working on Avalerion again to update its poweplant to supercharged engine which was needed because it has single-cylinder engine. It took me a some time to improve other aspects of that such as engine starting and takeoff performances. Result was good and so I decided to make another single cylinder airplane with more capabilities; and so Godwit was born. Finding best characteristics between ground and water takeoff were the trickiest part of the development of Godwit. Engine RPS builds up to 60 before takeoff and then that potential energy is used for takeoff in a few seconds.

FEATURES
- Single-Cylinder tiny diesel engine with very low fuel consumption
- Stabilizer & GPS Autopilot
- Seat buttons with audible feedback
- Automated generator for efficiency
- Fuel remaining time and range instruments
- Heater, various first person equipments
- Custom built Airplane Gyro

PILOT'S MANUAL
1. Press 6 to turn Engine ON
2. Throttle increase, taxi
3. Takeoff against wind direction if there's wind

Optional:
- Turn off "High Speed Mode" to increase max range

Update:
- To fix weaker engine power caused by fluids update, trigger button now uses starter motor as a booster for engine when takeoff from water.

Jarsp,
Right, supercharged air intakes are reduced after the fluids update. Engine should peak at 60 RPS before takeoff but currently can't do it. I will try to fix it now.

I figured out the issue, but another one has shown up. I think that the game's physics changes, the plane has a REALLY hard time taking off on water now.

the plane is super cozy and amazing for rescue mission 100% recommend

I used it a lot in the past, throttle at 25 percent shouldn't be issue for taxi or landing. Unless there is something changed in game that broke it. I will check it.

Ther is an issue......the plane will not go below 25 percent throttle, making it impossible to land or taxi without taking off. Any advice or chance you could fix this? I love the plane!

Hey Thales could ya return to building 30s Airliners.
You can only use the Fokker F.7 so many times before it becomes boring to fly ya know.
