Thank you for your reply, perhaps shuffle is not the right word, I should have said when a new skill is applied, another skill may disappear entirely.

It is part of the WWL design. The event listener checks if a new skill point is put into a spell, but cannot distinguish between buying a new spell or upgrading a known spell.

I agree that one could argue that if its just an upgrade the shuffle does not need to happen, but I believe it would be more difficult to make. The shuffle is necessary in case you buy a new spell (which I know is not really the case with Olorin, but too much work to make a special case for him).

Playing as the Halflings, and the magics for Olorin the Grey Wizard still shuffle around when upgrading them.
