Small quest battles - small armies campaigns

Description
This is a small mod that reduces the number of units in quest battles (included final fights and such). It also reduces allied reinforcements.

I have tried to about "half" the number of units, though it is tricky at times. There is no guarantee that the difficulty is now half, but it is definitely reduced.

Intention of this mod is to support small armies campaigns, see more information here:

This mod will also work with vanilla games if you just want to make your quest battles easier.

The mod can be added/removed at any time. It does not touch any quest mechanics, so it is compatible with instant quest battle and other similar mods.

I have included quests from Mixu's mods. You do not need to subscribe to Mixu's mods to use this mod, it is completely plug&play. Let me know if you want quests from some mod included.

I found the issue. It was the save game. Seemingly, the battle was already loaded as it were. The mod did not change anything. When I reloaded an older save and played to the same point, it worked fine.

Is it the quest battle "Star of Avalorn"? When I start that from the main menu I only get one hell cannon.

Hey Trubble. Thank you for looking into the matter. The Mod works now perfectly for the quest battle of Alith Anar. I am not sure if it works as intended for Alariell, though, since the army numbers seem to be unchanged (there are still 3 hellfire cannons for instance).

I found the issue. There are a few quest battles that teleport units around, and these could reference units that have been removed. Fortunately, they were not many, so I have updated them now. This includes Alith Anar and Allariel. I hope this fixes things for you. Thank you for reporting this.

Every quest battle for the HE faction. Worked fine with Oxyotl, which I played directly before, though. Havent changed any mods or anything else. I am playing with Alith Anar. So far the problem occured in his and Allariels quest battles. As soon as I deactivate your mod, the batlles run as usual without any problems.

My first thought is that it must be something else as this mod does not touch anything important in the game. Only modifies numbers in one table specifying number of units.

What quest is this happening for you in?

Sadly the mod does not work any more, at least for the HE. All I get in quest battles are black screens.
