Halo 3 "Sandbox" Map

Welcome back to another map! Today I bring you Sandbox from Halo 3! If you are a halo 3 veteran as much as myself, you'll already know everything about this map and how it was a big deal for custom games making. Aside from all of that, time to get to the point. Sandbox was a quick few hours build and something to do while I took a break from a map similar to the Take and Hold map. The map about stays true to it's original self. That means it includes its surface and underground areas all being connected via hole and it's main big background detail The Guardians. Now you can relive Sandbox from it's glory days of Halo 3 and use it as a build map like any other map designed for building purposes.


Map Features

-- Functioning Guardians

"In Halo 3, the Guardians served as a out-of-bounds kill zone designed to well, kill any out-of-bounds players. In the Gmod recreation, the Guardians are the same as they ever were with a bit of a difference. Instead of shooting any plasma beams, it will laser the player with a draining beam until killed or re-enters the map. In Halo 3 you could build a tunnel out-of-bounds and be protected from the endless barrage of plasma shots. The story stays the same in Gmod. You can use props to block the laser from the Guardians and stay alive."
Note that the Guardians can be disabled by typing, ent_fire GUARDIANTRIGGERS disable in console
They can be re-enabled by typing, ent_fire GUARDIANTRIGGERS enable in console aswell. I recommend to disable the Guardians in multiplayer because I don't know how they will treat targetname !player with multiple players and might constantly kill a single player and only said single player. I tried everything to make it target the activator couldn't make it work. If anyone knows, let me know how to get it to work so I can get it fixed.

Yes it has a Navigation Mesh

It's certainly possible if they include lua files that are coded to do that.

For anyone worried about the haunting stuff, don't be, that's another map causing it. I think it's gm_construct 13 Beta that puts that model in other maps, if I recall correctly

An addon must be doing some trolling. Because these "dark figures" were never in the game. I can say that in my 5 years of playing gmod. Cause I'm gonna be real here, all that stuff is stupid.

Is this map haunted? I have seen one of those Gordon freeman statue glitches as well as a dark figure that promptly dissipated when I approached. I have footage of both.
