Struble Brothers

Description
The First asset in a new series of buildings based on the once thriving, but now depressed town of Wilkinsburg, PA just outside of Pittsburgh.

Struble Brothers Inc. was founded in 1915 by, you guessed it: The Struble Brothers. I believe there were two of them involved, and a third brother operated another business in town. ...or maybe there were only two brothers, and the second one split off at some point, idk. The shop was originally located in a building across the street from this one (long since demolished), and moved to this location at an unknown time. At some point, the business was sold off, and my grandfather bought it and ran it for several more years. The company did furnace and roofing work including replacement and repair. Operations ceased in the mid 1970s, and the building was sold to an Electrician who used it until the mid 2000s. It now sits vacant like many of the other buildings left in town.

This 2x2 low commercial growable is based on the Wilkinsburg, PA location, I made this a commercial building, even though it doesn't sell goods directly. Perhaps it should be a low industrial building, but I wanted it to be able to be used in a streetscape setting like the real thing without creating too much pollution. I made it true to scale, so it is narrower than the 2 unit (16M) lot. Due to this, it is recommended that you use Move It to achieve the wall to wall look.

Please give me a like with a "thumbs up" if you enjoy.

I recently discovered your work, great stuff! Although there is an obvious gap of Kennywood items/props.
