A2021 Rotary Interchange

CS Service Interchanges (modded)

Description
This is a Rotary Interchange. It's a 'service interchange', connecting a highway to a regular road network.

Interested in more service interchanges? Check out the Collection

This interchange is made useing NCR and IMT. What you see in the screenshots is what you get after placing it, including the markings on the junctions. The interchange can be placed without the 'Intersection Marking Tool' mod. But without it the markings on the junctions will not be visible.

- Cost: 37.350,-
- Maintenance: 558,-
- Size: 108x46
- Max. height: 4.5m
- Min. height: -4.5m
- Nodecount: 36
- Lane mathematics are applied for a good traffic flow.
- Lane connections have been applied.
- No clipping lightposts/streetlights (lights going through roads situated above them)

- As always; flatten the entire area the blueprint/template covers.
- To fully enjoy this interchange you need to subscribe to a couple of mods. These mods do not affect your games performance. They only add extra very handy tools to your game.

Because '3-lane highways' are the most commonly used highway type on maps, I've created this interchange to be connected (the highway ends on the interchange) to these 3-lane highways. The 4th lane on the 4-lane highways are used as exit and entry lanes.

Enjoy!

Want to know how 'Lane mathemetics' work and how to use the functions of TM:PE? I recommend watching some of Biffa's traffic fixing video's on Youtube

Any comments, suggestions and/or feedback is much appreciated! And if you like this collection so much that you think others should see it as well, then please rate it!

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!

@Dave: The Curb Height Adjuster has two main features.
- It can lower the height of the curbs.
- It can decrease the thickness of Vanilla elevated roads. These are very thick. And that makes them a lot more difficult to use for interchanges if you do not want extreme slopes in them.

@MaxFX: Thanks. Using the "Subscribe to all" on your collections was supposed to save me time, but it ended up costing me a bunch, since when you do that, Steam doesn't tell you if any of them have requirements that you don't have installed yet (like when you install directly from a Mod's page). Before you got back to me with the below information, I just unsubscribed from all of them and then added them back a few at a time until I discovered it was the A2021 Diverging Diamond mod, which has a requirement for "Flexible overpass walls - Slanted sides", and once I subscribed to that, the error went away. I also subscribed to "Curb Height Adjuster 1.6" which it also lists, though I'm not sure what that one mod is doing where it wants to play with the curb heights... 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, at least it's working without an error message now. 😀

@Dave: Yes, that would be this asset by Avanya: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=739477206

It's not a requirement, as the interchange it is part of will work as intended, but adding this makes it look a bit better.

Oh yeah, it's there. Otherwise, how would I be able to actually select it from UI and then select intersections to paint the lines manually? 😋

So, I guess I'm at a loss for why they aren't showing up when I plop down one of yours....

On a separate note - I finally stumbled upon your collections link for system and service interchanges, and did the "subscribe to all" on both of them to finally save myself some time going through them and subscribing to them manually. 🤣 However, as the game is starting up, the display says that Overpass Wall v2 is missing. I can't seem to find any such named mod in the workshop. Any ideas which one of your mods would be using it so I can check that page for whatever it's listing as a dependency? I got no messages on the group add....

@Dave: I've just tested it, and all the markings are there. Are you sure IMT is both subscribed as well as enabled in the Content Manager?

Hello. I've been adding a bunch of your service/system interchanges since discovering them in a recent Biffa video. 😀 They all look really good!

Something that I've noticed, however - even though I do have Intersection Marking Tool installed, when I plop one of these assets down (any of them, so far) to check them out, I'm finding that the lines that should be on the road are not appearing as described in the description. If I'm understanding it right, the asset already has the lane lines, etc., painted at the nodes where they should be. However, I haven't had a single one of them appear with those lines in place. I can go into IMT, select a node, and paint the lines myself, but since your description is saying that the lines should already appear when these get plopped down as long as IMT is enabled, I figured I'd better mention it to you. Any ideas why it may not be working? Or am I misunderstanding what's written in the description? 🤔
