Report a translation problem
The Goal is to basicly build a path you want the monsters to take.
As you can see on the Pictures with the red Lines, the circle is not closed, its an open spirale.
The same tactic also works in a lot of RTS Games against Computer controlled Enemies, the prioritize Buildings over Walls,.. exception is when the Wall is closed and dose not leave them any way inside, but when you leave an opening, most Computer controlled Enemies in Games try to run through that opening, and you can then use this to focus the defense there.
