[TBS] HEMTT M984-OG Truck

Description
HEMTT M984-OG Truck

This is my entry for MrNJersey's Army Wrecker Build Challenge.

Designed for operation in the rough terrain of Afghanistan's desert, this special version of the US Army's HEMTT is a promise to get you home again. Flexible, easy to drive, and powerful are the three words you want to hear, when heading into dangerous situations - and that's what the M984-OG delivers!

---- Additional Gear is linked in the Workshop! These are OPTIONAL! ----

Updates:

- Default spawn gear set to Medium, instead of High. This is primarily for the Challenge Video, as High would probably be too much power. I currently intend to keep it that way, as it's easily switchable anyway and I think that Medium is a great starting point to drive off in.

- Updated the Gear Bar Graph. As Low is like reaaally low, I decided to give it two bars only. On the other hand, High Mode has now three bars, as the increase from Medium is significant.

- Slightly increased Steering Capabilities. If you fully steer at top speed, you might get a slight oversteer now. I think that makes it a bit more fun to drive, as drifts are easier to control. To prevent oversteering, just release A/D once in a while during turning, the slipping wheels will keep you on course.

- Updated Steering to be quadratic. The benefit is finer control on tapping A/D and overall better controlability.

- Updated the Gear Display to include 00 to represent Neutral.

User Guide:

- Start Up: Get in the seat and turn the key - how hard can it be, huh?

- Lights: Comes with 4 light modes: Off - Head Lights - High Beam - Hazard Light. Light mode changes with Hotkey 2, Hazard Lights via Button.

- Fully Automatic Gearbox with optional limiter: Throttle and Brakes are very intuitive and set your gear automatically with Smart Assist Gear. Brakes apply when pressing W/S against driving direction. Forward/Reverse change on stand-still or on the fly while already moving in the desired direction.
Note: Remember to release and repress W/S for the direction you want to go after full stop.
The built in Limiter reduces the highest gear, to ensure safe ride even in roughest terrain. Current limit is displayed on the dashboard (green, orange, red bars). (Set with Hotkey 3+4).

- Speed Adjusting Steering: Makes sure that you won't completely overdo it while driving. A little fun is still allowed, if you know what I mean, hehe.

- Speed Adjusting Brakes: Apply just the right amount of brake force to prevent wheel slip while slowing down for the smoothest experience!

- Hillstart Assist: Makes sure that the engine has enough power to start a climb, after stopping on a slope. Also, ever had an automatic, that lets you coast down a hill in neutral? This one can!

- Radio: Big Boys don't have time to read manuals. Set your channel and hit your PTT button on your keyboard ... that's it! No hotkey, no switches!

- RC: Installed by default, allowes you to get the M984-OG into situations without risking the driver. Set the Remote onto the Radio Channel and drive as if you were sitting inside!
Additionally, the crane is remote controlled too! Make sure to set the Remote Channel one step higher than Radio! Unlock the Crane with Hotkey 1 - Fold the Crane by pressing Hotkey 1 again!
Note: If you accidentally hit both Winch Up/Down Hotkeys, their use will be inverted. THIS IS NOT A BUG, you just have both Up and Down turned on at the same time, and 'pressing the other key' turns that one off and the inverted action happens. You can fix this by turning off the other action too, so that both are off. (Sorry, your only visual reference is the winch)

- SIBTaT compatible*: Yes, all the channels are supported! Release Trailer by holding Hotkey 5.
*Note: This truck does NOT have a 5th Wheel Connector! Use a Ball-Hitch / Goose neck connection! (height = axis on 5x5 suspension wheel, aka 3 Blocks). You can pass data/power through the connector, or use the color labled cable connectors. Use a dolly with pass-through for 5th wheel trailers!

- Fall-Over-Assistant: It happens to the best of us. When it's you who's about to flipp, point in a random direction and shout "Is this a plane!?" while the Assistant get's you back on your wheels. Noone will ever know, I promise! In case of a 180° roll, your warranty is void! But who cares, you're a wrecker! Go pull yourself out of that mess you got into! (aka use the crane)

@Kokos Polski: What are you trying to do? The Remote Controller connects on the same Frequency as the Radio Channel (on the dashboard) is set, in order to DRIVE the Truck. Hotkeys are the same as noted on the Driver Seat.
If you are trying to use the CRANE, then you need to go Radio Channel + 1 on your Remote. So if Radio Channel is Ch. 1 (default), the Crane operates on Ch. 2! Then you have to press Hotkey 1 in order to unlock the Crane (as is noted in the Description or on the Info Pannels as seen in the Screen Shots). Pressing Hotkey 1 a second time will engage folding again!

@mmmmm.welding: Thank you for the compliment!

@epic gamer: On the truck, there is this basket in front of the crane. It is detachable, using the "release connectors" button next to the equipment box (can be seen in the screenshots).
The easier option is to replace it in editor. You can just load it with the Cut-Tool and place it into the basket. It will cleanly replace it. Just make sure that you PLACE IT OVER THE CONNECTORS. If you missalign it, the basket will not be overwritten, or worse, you will have phantom-forces!
