🔍 Occupation: Waitress (formerly), Actress
Biography:
Leonora Johnson was born on August 29th, 1952 in the Midwest. Her father, Harold was a chicken farmer and her mother, Ellen was a slopper at a dairy farm. She suffered lung problems due to heavy smoking during childhood. At school, Leonora was an unremarkable student, but hit puberty at an early age, and attracted a lot of attention from other students and the school faculty.

At fifteen years old, Leonora Johnson dropped out of high school and travelled to Los Santos by hitchhiking to escape from her uncle, and dreamt to become either a movie star or a model. After working as a waitress for several months, her natural beauty and child-like naivete caught the eye of the entertainment industry, and became a common face on the Vinewood party circuit and casting-couch circuit.
Career:
By the early 1970's, Johnson was getting regular work as a model in print ads, television commercials and minor acting roles on movies. In 1973, she got cast in Richards Majestic Productions' film "Rum Runner" in which she played Beryl, a wise-cracking disabled prostitute and stole every scene she was in.

However, she was described by the media as "a pretty face to watch without perhaps much spark in the eyes", implying although she was beautiful-looking, she probably wasn't very intelligent. It was also rumored that she was considered for the female lead role in "The Many Wifes of Alfredo Smith".
Murder:
On January 17th, 1975, following an anonymous tip-off to the LSPD, her body was found by the side of the Land Act Dam by the reporters, hours before the LSPD showed up trampling over all the usable forensic evidence. They couldn't find any form of evidence to figure out who killed Johnson, so the case went cold shortly afterwards.

Leonora was found to be mutilated, with both her hands and feet cut off and slashes were made to her face. Her body parts were scatted. Multiple incisions were found on her breasts including a star carved into her back and cigar burns found on her body. A portion of her thigh was sliced off with the word "ham" carved into her thigh.

Forensics found that she was sexually assaulted before being murdered.

After Leonora's death, the unknown attacker taunted her family for years by sending letters, making anonymous phone calls, and sending Leonora's locket and her severed lips on the anniversary of the murder. According to some other rumors/reports, he had also stalked her for years before actually abducting her and raping her, though this was not confirmed by the killer when he was caught.

According to reports, a pornographic version of her murder was produced in 1984. The movie was called "Lay Enormous Jonhson" and Leonora was portrayed by Jessica Barlow, a person who claimed to be "Leonora's best friend at high school" although Leonora's parents had no idea who she was. The story was also featured in an episode of The Underbelly Of Paradise.
Mystery Solved:
There is a series of 50 scraps of a torn-up letter that the killer had sent to a friend, David Richards, in 1975, shortly after Leonora's murder, confessing his crime and justifying his actions artistically. After finding all the letter scraps, the player will see the entire letter, and then the "Strangers and Freaks" mission "A Starlet in Vinewood" will be unlocked for Franklin, in which he confronts the killer with that letter, and vigilante justice against killer is optional.

After all fifty pieces of the confession letter have been collected, Franklin Clinton discovers that Peter Dreyfuss' is the killer. He heads to his house to confront him about the murder. Dreyfuss denies involvement and also tries to bribe him, but when Franklin rejects his pleas, Dreyfuss attempts to run away. Here, the player can choose between killing Dreyfuss or letting him get away. However, killing him is required to get the gold medal in the mission.

Dreyfuss was a director in the 1970's who left the film industry, after his movie "Last Will and Testament" was a failure at the box office. The audience and critic reaction to the movie left Dreyfuss incandescent with rage and vowed to never work again.

During his absence from cinema, his films began to gain a cult following, and his image saw a renewal in popularity, with critics calling him one of the "last masterminds of American cinema". However, his image was not completely clean, as many women who worked with Dreyfuss over the years had accused him of sexual harassment.

In 1975, Dreyfuss tortured and killed Leonora Johnson. After this, he wrote a confession letter to David Richards, stating that he had to kill her (and later torment her family by mailing them pieces of her body) for "artistic purposes".

He claimed that the murder would "hurt him most" and that making Leonora and her family suffer would give him artistic inspiration, though his words and actions hardly showed any remorse nor "hurt". Richards tore up the letter and scattered the pieces across Los Santos and Blaine County.

It is also revealed in his confession letter that at some point before 1975, he and an inebriated Richards paid two hookers in Mexico to stab each other.

@Professor_Boris, thanks mate I appreciate the kind words. That reasoning is the backbone to how and why I write the way I do. I want things as comprehensive and as informative as possible but at the same time no BS and straight to the beans of things.

I don't want to search and be left in a mystery. If I am reading and searching for information, I don't mind having a long read but I want it to actually compose of actual information and not rubbish. I want to take the reader on a long but precise journey that leaves them with a lot of information to process because that's how I am as a consumer of information. Cheers mate x
