Description
Welcome

Ello, people of the workshop. I bring you the C-250 Cargo Plane.

The design is based upon the US C-130J seen in real life.

Lore
The Iron Wolves were being pressed hard during the wars throughout their history and one thing they lacked, getting supplies getting sent to critical bases. The designers at Alpha base in the Solaris system put together a long range cargo plane to support the bases in need. Now the C-250 Cargo Plane is the most common atmospheric cargo transporter seen in IRW systems.

BE ADVISED! FLYING THIS CRAFT TAKES PRACTICE!
I am a well seasoned pilot. I, Incanatus, have flown this craft many times and have landed successfully with time and patience. DO NOT RUSH THE AIRCRAFT! It is heavy, it is slow, it has NO reverse thrust. This craft is better suited with advanced and veteran pilots. Fly at your own risk.

How To Fly

Step 1. Close all doors and ramps.
Step 2. Ensure the runway is clear.
Step 3. Full throttle to cruise control.
Step 4. Disengage parking brake.
Step 5. Activate thrusters.
Step 6. Take off and engage dampeners at end of runway.
Step 7. Disable ground wheel control/steering/braking in your hot bar.
Step 8. Don't crash.

How To Land

Step 1. Find Runway.
Step 2. Talk to local Air Traffic Control/anyone on site to ensure runway is clear.
Step 3. Line yourself up with the runway approx 5km out.
Step 4. Throttle down to zero on cruise control in your hot bar.
Step 5. Slow down by pulling up and pressing C to lower yourself carefully.
Step 6. Engage ground wheel control/braking/steering in your hot bar.
Step 7. Continue to runway.
Step 8. Within 1km ensure you are going less than 40m/s, any faster abort landing and try again.
Step 9. Within 1km ensure nose is up and the first thing to hit the runway are your wheels.
Step 10. Gently make contact with ground and let the level the aircraft with the runway.
Step 11. Brake until you stop after making full contact.
Step 12. Turn off thrusters and taxi off the run way if clear.

If reposted then give credit to either the Iron Wolves Empire (IRW) or to me, Incanatus.
Let me know of any issues.

I am still rather new to the workshop so do please help me out in anyway that you think will help me expand.

@[TGG] Doctor Heisenberg, I can but it'll take some time as my schedule is currently full. I'll try to up the priority of it if possible.

Hey man I'm sure it will be superb

@DerpiestTurtle, I'll make an IRW Version of the US Osprey VTOL craft. No bets on it working though.

You should try making an osprey, it's my favorite flying vehicle and I'm sure you gonna build something crazy realistic. Take your time though, you know, to make it perfect

@DerpiestTurtle, glad to hear that they are suitable for your usage. Let me know of any ideas on what to make next.

Your builds are awesome. I uploaded them to my Xbox account and am using them now for fun. They are great for roleplaying
