Shopping (Mutation)

A SOLO mutation...
..where you kill zombies to earn money and spend your money on buying items.
You start with a magnum. Its ammo is limited so acquire a melee as fast as you can.
There's no random horde and the number of zombies is limited.
Zombies hit harder and reserved ammo is decreased.
There is neither ammo pile nor medkit. Buy them.
Tank health is 3000.


Shopping Bar
Use !buy or !b or !B to toggle shopping bar.
Use RELOAD key to change item selection.
Use USE key to buy a selected item.
- The price of each item goes up as you keep buying it.
- Once per chapter, The price of items will be dropped for 5 points, for a limited time.
- Money and price will return to starting value at the beginning of the chapter.


Safe room door
At the end of each chapter, you will have to kill a tank in order to get inside the safe room.
- You open the safe room door.
- It will be closed automatically.
- Tank will be spawned.
- You kill it.
- You open the safe room door.
- You get inside.
- Next chapter.


Starting Mutation
- You must start this mutation via console only or the random horde won't stop spawning. Use the following command in console to start the mutation.
map <MAPNAME> shop
replace <MAPNAME> with the map you want to play.
- To view all maps you can play, use this command:
maps *
- For example, to start this mutation on Dead Center campaign, use the following command.
map c1m1_hotel shop


Misc.
- For faster shopping bar access, bind "say !buy" to a key.
For example, in console, use the following command.
bind b "say !buy"
With this, you can press B button to toggle the shopping bar.
- This mutation uses VSLib and a weapon script for magnum pistol.
- They don't sell molotov.
