Description
Phorcys Class Deep Sea Vehicle

The Phorcys Class (pronounced Four-Kee-s) was designed when an engineer looked at a deep sea laboratory and asked, "What if it could move?" A few years and millions spent on R&D later, the finished product was a fully mobile, deep sea submersible that could anchor itself in place and remain on station indefinitely (or atleast until the crew starved)

Notes about the depth control
Turn the appropriate key at the helm to start the depth thrusters.
While you can change depth at top speed, the system works best if you slow down to around 0.3 throttle while changing.
Once you have deployed the 'Station keeping anchors' and they have locked, you can safely turn off the thrusters and the craft will remain in position.

To start
Once spawned in, the reactor is already on. Just wait until the turbines spool up before heading out
(I recommend using this time to explore and familiarise yourself with the layout)

To sink
Simply dive below the crush depth.
Crush depth can be changed using the lever located in the boiler room (located on the bottom floor at the stern)

i recomend staying in the big part of the escape pod cuz the driver seat is not watertight and you have to give it a bost by driving it a little

Solid vessel. Never tried the escape pods but I haven't had any issues with it

very important question ummmm do we have any air sub systems like stored air or like air purifiers if not i suspect time inside would be very limited

A bit sad that the only way it will "Work" is to get rid of the escape pod, that way it can actually dive and stay under water. Or I'm just not using it correctly.

so i just found out that the escape pod prevents the sub from diving for some reason if you launch the escape vessel the sub will shortly dive right after
