Mi-27 T1 Trident

Description
===========================================================================
Lore
===========================================================================
Following the incomplete development of the heavier Mil Mi-12 in the early 1970s, work began on a new heavy-lift helicopter, designated as the Izdeliye 90 and later allocated designation Mi-26. After the Chernobyl accident the Soviet General Staff realized that they needed a helicopter to replace the Mi-26 and its variants when it came to operating in radioactive zones and handling radioactive cargo. The Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant was tasked with creating a replacement for the Mi-26 and their contribution was the Mi-27. The helicopter used coaxial rotors for greater stability and lifting power. The helicopter came with an integrated defense suite with both Flares RWR and a Radio jamming suite. The helicopter first entered service with the Soviet ground forces as a transport platform for BM's, ICBM's and later SLBM's.

Using IRCM
===========================================================================

IRCM strobe: Currently kinda more useless than the flares

===========================================================================
Emergency protocols
===========================================================================

Single engine failure:
1. Turn on the Emergency rotor clutch override
2. Turn of the dead engine on the overhead panel
3. Raise the throttle (Only if carrying cargo)

Total engine failure:
1. Aim for water
2. Stay in your seat

Water-landing:
1. Open the Relay maintenance hatch
2. Turn on the Emergency mode

The heaters are turned on by the temperature regulator panel by the cockpit window (both on pilot/copilot side)
