Current mod version: 2.2-Inigo-rev1

Nothing right now, we are happy with it.

"My Heart is in the Rift,...

... my heart is not here. My heart is in the Rift a chasing the deer: Chasing the wild deer, and following the roe. My heart is in the Rift wherever I go!"
- Inigo The Brave

What is ReGrowth?

ReGrowth is a mod deeply influenced by the philosophy of the Vanilla Expanded Series and the understanding how biomes work, what role they play in your game. Everything added was made to fit or mirror vanilla. From a simple UI texture to a new more complex system, being as performance and vanilla friendly is the main objective we have.

Inspired by my favorite game, "Skyrim", Aspen Forests is a new biome filled with genetically engineered Aspen trees, new flowers and grass. It is beautiful, colourful and unique.

Aspen Forests are a simple biome, there is no performance hungry code or new features you will only find there. Its goal is to add variety for the player.

ReGrowth is designed to be as lightweight as possible, adding the minimum of new code required for its auditions to work.

These are all the mods we currently support from our end:

  • Vanilla Fishing Expanded
  • World Map Beautification Project
  • Vanilla Animals Expanded

Q: Can this mod be added to an existing save?
A: Yes, but you won't see the biome unless you create a new save.

Q: Can this mod be removed from a save?
A: No, I do not recommend removing mods that add a biome during an active game.

Q: Can I use other mods that do similar changes to the game? (GreenRim, etc.)
A: Probably yes, but I can't guarantee that everything works as it should.

Q: Is this mod part of the Vanilla Expanded Series?
A: No, while you might see similar people attached, it is NOT a Vanilla Expanded mod.

This tree is an aspen. You can tell it's an aspen because of the way it is :3

@Lazer Man: The issue is oskar or me both not having a patch that adds his plants.

I have the same problem as Aerii Korva below. No fish are catchable.

I know in the past that people were having troubles with the biome-locked fruit trees from Vanilla Plants expanded being unable to be grown in this biome (the fruits that grow in cold biomes are what I'm particularly thinking of). Is anyone still having that issue, and is it an intentional thing? I wanted to ask before using this map for a playthrough.

Heya! Was playing a new 1.6 game in an Aspen map and set up some fishing zones from Vanilla Expanded, but it kept saying there were no fish in the biome? I wasn't getting any errors so I poked in the files a bit, and saw there's a patch in the 1.4 and 1.5 folders for Vanilla Fishing Expanded, but not for 1.6. I just wanted to see if this was intended or not. :o

I play on ver1.5 and for some reason my mod folder completely missing some plant textures, like grass, all shrubs and all flowers, re-install mod wia steam didn`t help. Maybe its only me. (tested without any mods except Harmony, vanilla framework, Regrowth 2)

Regardless i just found previous mod iteration on net and manually add missing textures to steam mod folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2545774148\1.5\Textures\Things\Plant)and it worked. Only missing polluted shrubs but it`ll do.

I am having the same problem as Battle Bunny Verdy, i'll try to figure out the conflict but tracing it back to this mod took long enough

Bog Beacons being in a biome inspired by the Rift nags at me a bit, shouldn't it be in temperate/tropical swamps as well as tropical rainforests?
Deathbells make more sense, Hjaalmarch is closer to the Rift then Blackwood and Black Marsh, as well as being in the same province. But Death bells should probably be in Cold Bogs instead.

Scaly Pholiota are usually in the Rift than Bog beacons, and Nightshade grows in places of death like Deathbells, however unlike Deathbells they grow all over Tamriel.
