Safety notes
  • SAS must always be active during flight.
  • During takeoff, be aware of tailstrikes and pitch up gently. An aft fuselage-mounted wheel is offering protection up to a certain extent.
  • This aircraft carries a significant amount of oxidizer serving as ballast. Be aware of that prior to dumping/burning it.
  • This aircraft is suited for landing/takeoff on unsecured terrain. During landing attempt, be aware of all possible factors that could lead to disaster, e.g. this craft's rather long braking distance.
  • Following incidents or at low fuel levels, maneuverability (most-likely pitch) will eventually decrease. Locking the aft stabilizers allows for a more powerful pitch allowing sharp turns and faster recovery.
