Hyperbaric DM20

Description
The DM20 was an Early Europan ship used for transport in dangerous environments. As such, it came standard with heavily armored hulls and weaponry that could fend off deadly attacks. What made the DM20 so sought after was its high capacity forward facing tandem rail guns. For the time, this technology was state-of-the-art. It also flaunted not one, but two of the best production engines made to this day. Made of solid brass, the engines were impervious to water damage and capable of output power necessary for evasion. All of these traits made an incredible foundation for renown Europan company Hyperbaric to update and retrofit the ship with high tech automated solutions and construct a formidable vessel to brave the waters. We present to you:

Technical Details:
  • The hybrid engine management system is automatic, but it is important that the Captain and Engineer(s) know how it functions. Under normal operating conditions(Reactor On) The Hyperbaric DM20 will be able to utilize a maximum of 100% of Engine 1 and 20% of Engine 2. This is limited by the computer and cannot be changed. This makes it so that the submarine will not drain its own batteries under normal operation. Any excess power created from the reactor (engines producing less than 100% and 20% respectively) will be used to charge the ships batteries.
  • In the event that the reactor loses power for any reason, the automatic array will take over. It will then limit engine 1 to a maximum of 50% power and shut down engine 2. This is to reserve power for more vital systems.
  • If the Captain enables Overclock Mode, Engine 1 and Engine 2 will both be able to run at 100% power. Since Engine 2 is run exclusively off of the backup array, overclock mode can only be activated with the reactor on and can be sustained for a maximum of one minute at full power.
  • The Backup Array and Capacitors work such as when the Capacitors reach a predetermined level, they will be rapidly replenished by the Backup Array. The Battery level shown in the Navigation room displays the backup array, the capacitors will still be able to run for a small amount of time once the array reaches 0%
  • The Ship will always prioritize charging capacitors over the backup array while the reactor is on or when station docked.
  • When the ship is docked, if the low battery alarm is on it will turn off. The reactor will also set to off when docked. The Batteries will charge from the station.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I realized i did not have BetterGlass as a required item. It should work correctly after installing that mod as the right side walls of the Navigation room are made of glass
